Our weather here in Ohio turned really bad and at 82. I’m not able to get out and try it yet.

Heavy duty. Should do very well on bigger loads.

Most things on the internet are smaller than expected when they arrive. Not this wire cable sling, it's a monster. I ordered this to move some large sections of felled tree trunk from where they are at in the yard over to the burn pile. I figured that it's a lot easier to use the truck than my back.In the past, I've tried using tie down straps to do this, but they typically break. That won't be a problem with this cable sling. I think it would break parts of the truck before the sling let loose. If you need something stout to lift or pull round loads like logs, then check this out. The cable is very thick and has some spring to it, so you have to fight it a little in order to get it secured around your item. But when you do, it's off to the races, and the sling isn't breaking unless you do some full-on crazy stuff. This thing is impressive, I can't imagine a homeowner ever wearing it out. I'm very satisfied with it for what I need it to do.

I had this cable for about a month before it separated while lifting a 2500 lb section of 24" RCP. Description states it is rated at 5500 lb. Junk. Just glad no one got hurt. Ordered it from here to save some time. Won't do that again

A choker that is actuality well thought out in design and built very well. The chokerr uses a 1 inch by 12 foot cable as main line, with a nice flemish eye at the end, it is good sized and the crimp is done correctly making this a strong connection to whatever you'll use to pull this with. The sliding hook makes rigging up a log a breeze, just loop it around the log and clip it on the loop with the thimble end, pull it hand tight and it's ready to be hauled away. The sling is rated for 5000 pounds, likely due to the hook size as the 1"cable and this while setup feels capable of more than the rated load. A very heavy duty setup for 5000 pounds to say the least. Some other reviews have mentioned loose strands on their cable, but mine has none other then in the crimp ends, as expected. For those who are new to using a steel cable type of rigging, you should always be wearing a heavy duty pair of work gloves whenever you handle rope or cable. It's also not the worst idea to throw a winch cable weight or blanket over the cable if you'll be putting it under high tension, like stump pulling, as it can stop the cable from becoming a whip is anything breaks.

I love everything abou this YATOINTO Single Leg Wire Rope Sling except one thing. I'll cover that last.Meanwhile, the tech specs are as advertised (2.5T/5500Lbs Rated Load 12 Feet Length 0.5 inch Dia Flemish Eye Loop to Heavy-Duty Thimble with Sliding Choker).Very nicely made and feels solid. Manageable length. Not too long or short. Makes me happy.Looks like it's made to work. I've only used it to synch a tree and pull it behind a tractor. Good sized tree, about 12 feet of trunk. No issues, the sling performed wonderfully. Made it easy to.Now my one complaint/note. See the pic where the cable is in my hand? See how it's cut and sort of frayed out? Well, let me tell you - that stuff hurts. Metal splinters in the palm are not fun. Do yourself a favor if you get this: Check the ends like one shown and cover it with tape or something. That thing will tear up your skin. This is something YATOINTO should be looking at in quality control as well. Dropped a star due to this safety related issue.
