Be sure that the thickness of the surface to be clamped on is less than 2.75 inches thick. If the surface has a top glass that is less than 3/8", it will crack due to the pressure of the clamp. This product is excellent for its function and its price. Very sturdy and solid in its design. I highly recommend for those who are looking to buy one.

Ok I previously bought a vivo arm which was total junk in comparison so don’t believe those 5star reviews all it’s weight is held by two very tiny screws. This in comparison is more like a tank with heavy duty build quality, hefty hardware and well worth the slightly more in cost. Got it to hold my 24in M1 iMac done so with a bracket adapter from viozon which looks like it came straight from apple which clamps righ on with clean look and easy connection to this arm. I got the silver version to at least go with the iMac color. The adjustments are slightly tricky so take your time and follow instructions. I don’t plan on moving mine much it’s mainly just to hold it in place. My fur baby knocked over my iMac and broke the screen (luckily covered by AppleCare) so this was able to easily clamp down on ikea desk with large metal bracket underneath and make the iMac stable so no more accidents. Has one safety screw to remove from the arm so easy to remove if you need to

This is my first monitor "arm" or whatever you call it and i am overall pretty pleased, but a few things you should prob know:-there are little covers to house the cables to monitors which is very neat and i like it, but they are pretty flimsy plastic and my display port and HDMI cables (i bought 2 of these) are kinda bulky. I was going to run alternate inputs through so i can switch between machines on the monitors, but there's not really THAT much room, so i'll use a switch and you might have to as well if you have multiple inputs-The point at which you tilt to make the monitor face more upward and downward (facing toward the sky or toward the ground) isn't great, there is a tension adjust, but if it's too loose the monitor falls. Instructions seem to be the kind of deal where you use an allan wrench to adjust it everytime you want to and then retighten when it's in the right place. In reality no sane person is going to do that and is going to have the tension just enough that it holds the monitor up yet allows repositioning, which requires more pulling on my fancy monitors than i would like.-Solid metal and mounting, i dont think this thing is going anywhere and is very sturdy and i did the C clamp style mount, so i can't ask for much more.Overall easily worth the money, i just don't like the tilt function requiring me to yank on the monitor so hard

OEM design flaw - DO NOT BUYThe two screws securing the base to the arm are at least a 1/4" too short to effectively grip and hold once any torque is applied to tighten the base to the table. Screws pull out and thus the base cannot be secured to the table rendering this product useless. Also: this product [Amazon # B0DMFCXZLJ] is the same exact product as Amazon # B0DMF6THBC even though the sellers are different [MOUNT PRO and MOUNT UP]. I bought monitor arms from both and was disappointed they are the same product with same short screws design OEM defect.

Best I've found of the thirty dollar or so monitor arms.

To clarify I got two of these arms and by no means am I dissatisfied with my purchase. I do have a few opinions I'd like to share with those of you on the fence.Pros:They are a decent price for what you get.Easy to install.Mostly easy to adjust (more on this later). You don't need any tools, since they give you them.Minor cons (In my opinion):You can't really set the up alone w/o forgoing some safety.Be mindful of cable management.Major Con:Both of mine do not rotate easily at all. I attempted to rotate with monitors mounted and unmounted. No dice, at least not without running the risk of damaging my screens. Conclusion:As long as you intend to keep your monitors in the traditional orientation, DEFINITELY buy these. Two separate arms, over those single mounts with multiple arms that don't really adjust, give you much more freedom.

It took a bit of tightening to support my curved 32" monitor without tilting but once I got the right tightness, it's a fantastic monitor arm. Easy to install and sturdy without any wobble. I like the option of the clamp or using it through the desk hole. The silver finish is smooth and professional. I'm glad I invested in this monitor arm instead of a cheaper one.
