The flexibility is great. I want to trigger a load dump above a target voltage, but I want the unit to eat minimal power below that voltage as well as not trigger when unpowered. And the way to do that is to disable the over-voltage setting and configure the under-voltage setting to the voltage I want.That way I can use the 18(14) and 15(11) contacts to control the dump and the unit only burns 0.17W when not triggered because no relays are engaged below that voltage. When the relay engages it burns 0.51W which is fine the way it is set up because the load dump is operational too.I verified the 0.1V resolution with a bench supply and it is accurate within 0.1V. Being able to set the hysteresis and the trigger and reset delays adds to the flexibility, reducing relay wear.
