I watched a video about this product and could not imagine how it would make my projects any better than all the other shims, pads, etc. that I already owned. WRONG! If you do die cuts--- you must have this pad. I have a BIG KICK and a FISKARS which I love. I was amazed at the results when I used this with my metal dies. Embossing was deeper and cut out areas released out of the dies that I thought were solid areas. You have to boys the black Impressions Pad as they work in tandem. I do not know why they aren't sold as a set. Highly recommend this product. Be sure to watch videos online and read enclosed instructions to get the right sandwich for your particular machine and dies.

The only problem with this rubber sheet is that the texture actually is a lint magnet. I have a cat, and cat hair collects on this rather quickly. Clean up is easy, just run under water. The rubber mat sticks to the acrylic plates like static cling. So it doesn't really slip. I use this instead of the Cuttlebug brand because the price was much cheaper and reviews said it would work. It does a great job, I've embossed with it and used it beneath the B plates as I cut dies. It fits fine in my Cuttlebug and works as expected.A rubber mat seems to be a must have.

I use this to create impressions on my cards using my die cuts. It will not cut it, it just creates an impression of the image of the die. I use it with the Sizzix Big Shots. First layer is the first cutting pad, then the die (cutting edge facing up), the cardstock, the Silicone Rubber, then the second cutting pad. Run it through and ta-da!. Make sure you test it on leftover cardstock first to make sure it works the same for you. Happy crafting!

This item I purchased because it was by Sizzix but I really didn't know what to do with it until I tried to cut a die that just did not come out right. None of the fine lines or intricate details of the die showed up once I cut it. And of course, it didn't tell you why you needed to use this pad.... until I went on You tube... Once I found out how to properly use this pad along with another cutting plate (and after buying the plate) I was amazed at the outcome of the die cuts. Such profound deep impressions on the die I was shocked. I am so happy that I purchased this pad and thanks to You tube for offering assistance to anything you need to do. It was a good price and the delivery was as usual superb.

This is just what I needed, along with the impression pad, to use the awesome Sizzix texture plates! Love the way the embossing comes out and the more you roll over them the more pronounced the image gets!

I’m happy I could get the Sizzix brand silicone pad alone so I’d be sure I was using the recommended sandwich. The pad is great. Now I’ve realized that it’s my manual Big Shot that runs super tight, so I must adjust the sandwich. So I may look for a thinner pad….or just splurge and get the new Switch :).

I have a cutting machine. It came with all the standard plates. I never knew there was a rubber mat available for embosssing.So I purchased this one. What a difference it makes. The embossing comes out more sharoer and lines are well defined. I thought why have I not discovered this before.The rubber sheet itself. Its is thin rubber and the size of the cutting plate. I use it in Big Shot but it will go in many other machines.It does the job .It is very good
