The RP-1200.1D is 1-ohm stable and utilizes a wide array premium internal components that make it extremely powerful and reliable - such as its high speed MOSFET power supply and advanced PCB board layout. Conservatively rated at 1,200 watts RMS power at a 1-ohm load, with the capabilities of reaching beyond 1,600 watts at max power output. This amplifier is by far one of the most popular and affordable mono-blocks we have ever released, and is great for powering a pair of 600 watt rms subwoofers or a single 1,200 watt rms subwoofer.
Furthermore, the oversized 4-gauge power and ground terminals found on the amplifier allow for maximum current flow and therefore higher power output and more efficient operation. You'll have full reign over your amplifier with the built-in user control panel, featuring a bass EQ switch (0, +6, +12dB), and variable adjustment tunings for gain level, low-pass filter, and subsonic filter.
In addition to all the above features, this model also features 4-way protection circuitry, which will give the user the peace of mind knowing they are protected against damage to the amplifier for various reasons - including electrical shortage, overheating, low voltage, and more. This amplifier comes with a remote subwoofer level control (bass knob) allowing the user to have full control over their bass from the front of the vehicle.

This products is a ok choice for a starter setup with an added cooling fan.My RF foreman grill style amp has lasted 13 years of daily use. I switched it with this one to add more bass, and within 3 weeks it is no longer playing, but I am updating this review, because it was my trash Subs causing the issue. I apologize for any damage I may have caused with my negative review.The amp did its job and went into protect mode.The only cons is the footprint of the device, and this by nature will be less efficient and warmer than more modern styled amps.

Amp arrived very quickly very well packed. 3 different boxes. Amp showed up in perfect new condition.i am having to wait to install because the sub box i ordered from a different showed up completely destroyed. But amp itself looks awesome quality. Update 2/27/25. Amp is goin strong. Doesnt get hot at all. Performs well and has the power and performance thats its supposed too.

This is a decent amp for the money. Don't plan on running it at 100% for long unless you plan on adding some type of cooling. I ran 0 gauge power and ground, 8 Guage to the speakers. Dual coil 500w sundown 12s. It sounded good. Ran it for 2 years. I don't like the auxiliary style remote gain knob. It's weird and now I have to run my knob wire again.

Power delivery is amazing, stays cool to the touch after long jam sessions. Best son I have ever had. Don’t mount to the sub box, not sure why but it states all over the box and paperwork not to. Get it and you won’t be sorry.

What a great amp sounds a little better than my Jbl gto series’s?? That’s saying something!!! Great solid power & doesn’t draw enough to cause any electrical problems a real 500 watts @ 4 ohm, matched it with infinity kappa 10 inch subwoofer (450 watt continuous), match made in heaven sounds tight with good bottom end in sealed box .73 cubic feet! Thanks guys
