Outstanding case for checking your guitar as baggage -- don't expect to carry this on. It is big and heavy, so not best for taking around town for casual gigs or rehearsal. It has wheels to easily roll through the airport. Recessed latches are solid and well designed. I haven't used it yet but it is the sturdiest TSA case I have seen, much more substantial than the others I have used. This case is the one for classical guitars and I bought it for my Eastman OM -- should be same dimensions as a Martin so I would like to share this info. It was a tight fit around the lower bout but I carefully pushed it in and left it a few days to stretch. It fits fine now -- very snug. If you plan to use the case for a guitar for which it is not specifically designed you should measure your guitar and carefully review the specs. Even then it is hard to judge -- in this case the shape is just slightly different than the OM so doesn't drop in perfectly -- but it works fine as I explained.I don't understand someone who gives a 1 star rating because their odd size guitar doesn't fit. Lots room for storage inside.

This case is not an attractive item. Bulky, plasticky, and heavy, it's not something you need unless you are going to check it onto a flight, or throw it into a tour truck with other equipment. I have no doubt it will protect the guitar, and with TSA locks and extra holes for other locks, it can be made very secure. Not sure who needs sooo many extra lock options, but ok, they're there. The big issue I have is that I'm getting ready for a flight, and they didn't send me the keys for the TSA locks: that's a BIG problem! not only that, I've reached out to the dealer through multiple channels, and gotten no response. There's a shipping charge for sending it back, but I may do it anyway. Dealers who ignore that kind of simple problem aren't good to deal with. get it elsewhere, Sweetwater maybe, who also has free shipping and better response to issues.

I'm a business guy, and I just brought this product on my first business trip. I have a Córdoba classical guitar and need to practice when I'm on the road. The case itself carries not only the guitar, but there is plenty of room for a footstool and other things. I can appreciate how the airlines mishandles our goods, because after one trip there were a bunch of marks on the case. The guitar held up VERY WELL. wasn't even out of tune. This is something that NEEDS to be checked in. And it is TSA ready. Definitely not a carry on item. Having said this, Rolling this through the airport can be clumsy, especially if you have another bag you are going to check. It's like rolling around a midget sized coffin that has been flattened. The saving grace is that you only hv to do this from the car to the check in counter. Not bad, right? I did this into (and out of) Newark, Peoria and Burlington airport. It was a good first test. If you can get past the walk from car to ticket counter, it's great. Finally, I would say the guitar it contains is not an expensive one. If I had to bring an expensive guitar, I would use caution. Not so much because of the case itself, but because there will be extreme temperature changes where the bag is stowed down below. The Córdoba guitar cost less than $1,000. I'm willing to take that risk. I would never put my Breedlove acoustic guitar into the storage below, even in this very fine case. But check with the manufacturer or experts on these matters. I think wide swings in temperature can effect a guitar, especially a classical guitar. So, in closing this case is top of the line. Well built. Solid. I give the product my highest rating. I may revise after a few business trips..but so far so good.

Well built. Fits very well. Seems rigid and protective enough. Lightweight as well. I don’t travel enough to justify a Calton. I will gate check.

Took this on several international flights to Europe and the case and the guitar survived in good shape. This is a heavy case and does not deflect much at all with 200 pounds placed on it.

I traveled last year with this case internationally with a lot of flights. It protected my Martin 0M-28 Marquis perfectly.I myself have dropped this case on pavement while it was standing up. (Wind took it) Scared the hell out of me, but it protected my guitar perfectly. The only downside is that it's "heavy". It has wheels, but it's really, really heavy to wheel and especially carry. The next time I travel around a lot or for a short period of time I will probably opt for bringing a taylor GS-Mini because it's so much easier to carry around. If I'm going to be in one place for a very long time I will bring my Martin with this case

These cases are very thought out in design and are well worth it! I am a professional guitarist and do lots of traveling from gig to gig and have very expensive guitar's that need the best in protection. The wheels are so nice to have when walking through the airports.I totally recommend and endorse these SKB Case's,Miguel EspinozaFlamenco Guitarist

Fits my Oribe classical perfectly, but it's super heavy and awkward even with the wheels. Definitely seems bomb proof though. it would be nice if it had a compartment for music, since it's so big.

Fantastica, molto ingombrante ma.....fantastica. Eccellente protezione per lo strumento da urti, umidità , pioggia.Se la guarnizione é in buono stato la custodia risulterà anche stagna e inaffondabile.
