This 62" long case is perfect for carrying a large Archery bow plus accessories and repair tools. Was easy to cut the included foam to customize fitting of contents. Note: no locks on the latches, you have to use your own padlocks to prevent unwanted opening. I used two TSA approved locks. Survived airplane transport just fine but keep in mind this is an oversized item and will incur a check-in surcharge, for United Airlines that was a whopping $200 in January 2025. I purchased a used one through Amazon at a great discount, it was a customer returned item. Shipping box and the case arrived in perfect undamaged condition, like new. This case is heavy at 36 pounds, and is expensive even for a discounted used one but it is worth it as it will well protect whatever you're carrying. I had spoken to an SKB sales rep at a recent sporting goods trade show, he said that this case was originally designed for military use. It is absolutely a very sturdy case. The two wheels at one end make it somewhat easier to move around.

This case is incredibly durable and relatively lightweight for what it does. I've been using SKB cases (primarily 19" racks) since the '90's, and I've never regretted that decision. I've purchased several other case brands too, and they tend to be more hit or miss.

Seriously, forget any notions of going with a cheaper bag or case, and just get this. After going with a bargain hardware bag for a year, and watching it slowly fall to pieces (killing my back in the process) I finally bit the bullet and spent a little extra on a brand I trust. And I gotta tell you, I'm mad I didn't do it sooner. This case fits all of my hardware (I play a four piece with three cymbals + hats) with no problem. The construction is sturdy and so far the wheels can really take a licking. Through a month of heavy-duty touring this thing was as reliable as it was durable. The size was big enough to comfortably fit in a touring van without taking up too much space, but is also big enough that you don't have to take apart all your hardware to make it fit.If I had any gripes, it's that you still do need to collapse all your stands to make them fit in the case, and that my throne seat doesn't fit. But otherwise, I swear by this case and will never use anything but SKB from now on.

I've been a gigging drummer for over 40 years and have used practically every type of "stand" case from fiberboard trap cases w/wheels to a soft bag conga case w/wheels. The SKB meduim hardware case with its retractable handle and durable wheels is perfect for the gigging drummer. (You may want the larger case if you want to put your hi-hat stand in there.) I chose the medium size case, so I can load/unload the case by myself. Obviously, the more you bring, the heavier the case.I also own other SKB cases for both my drum shells and cymbal cases. The SKB cases take a beating and are still in great shape. This case has been so efficient, that I bought another case to store all the PA cables and extension cords.I bought the first case from BestBuy. I found the second one cheaper on Amazon.com through CSN stores. CSN stores had the best price and shipped directly from the factory.

I currently made the transition from a soft shelled Protection Racket case with wheels to the SKB Mid-Sized Hardware case. Being very pleased with other SKB products in my possession (Bass drum, multiple snare sizes, toms & cymbal vault) I figured it was time for an upgrade. Based on the dimensions and reviews, I was slightly concerned I would not be able to fit my required hardware in the case. Boy was I wrong! Here’s what I have in the case:(1) Pearl S930 Snare Stand(1) Pearl H2000 Hi Hat Stand(3) Pearl BC1030 Boom Stands(1) DW DWCP9900 Heavy Duty Double Tom Stand(6) DW Floor Tom Legs(1) DW DWCP3100 Drum Throne(1) DW DWSM912 Boom Cymbal Arm(1) DW DWSM912S Boom Cymbal Arm(1) DW DWSM798 DW Dog Bone...with room to spare.Needless to say I am very happy with the construction of the case, price and ample room for hardware storage. The real test is seeing how she handles over the next few show....

Great case, however received damaged, see pictures. These cost a lot of money, and pretty disappointed to receive it in such damaged condition. I would have given it 5 stars if received in better shape.

First, it’s bigger than you think. You could carry anything from a large keyboard to long poles. Heck, you could probably get two dead hookers in here.

This review MAY be a bit premature, as I've only had the case a short while and have only used it on two gigs. But, so far it's awesome and am wondering why I waited so long to get this. I always thought having a hard case would be too cumbersome and might not fit in the trunk of my car. I used a soft bag with wheels for about 6 years. Eventually the wheels gave out, and the bottom of the bag ripped apart from being dragged over every kind of terrain. Finally the other day the zipper gave out so I knew it was finally time to replace it.If you have a ton of double-braced stands (and want to fit everything in here like a double pedal, large throne seat, etc), you might need the larger size. But if you have a fairly modest setup you'll be fine. The retractable pull handle is nice and seems sturdy. Also, being able to stand the case up on end is a plus too.

These cases are the dogs. I have three now, easy to move one you have loaded them and they can take the rough and tumble of touring. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

El estuche es pesado (9kgs vacÃo) y con todos los soportes adentro se transforma en muy pesado - desde el punto de vista de durabilidad, no sé la durabilidad de las ruedas, pero todo el interior y exterior es a prueba de cualquier golpe - lo he usado ya un par de veces y es muy cómodo y espacioso para todo lo que necesita un baterista.
