The exteriors feature SKB's recognizable bar design that signifies the rack unit size on the front and rear lids. Molded bars on top and bottom also provide interlocking capabilities allowing you to easily and securely stack them with SKB's Standard Roto Racks and Roto Rolling Racks, making transport even more convenient and secure. Lids include rubber gasket seals to keep water out. Other standard features include front and rear steel threaded rails and rack screws 10-32 thread, recessed steel Mil-Spec twist latches, flush carry handles, and non-slip rubber feet. All Shallow Racks are 10.7 deep from front rail to rear rail.

I like that is a shorter case works great with my Furman M-8x2 rackmount power supply and Korg ToneWorks DTR-2 Digital Tuner. Please note the case is shorter in depth than a standard rack mount case. Your rackmount gears depth will need to be around 8.5 inches or shorter to fit in the case while still being able to put the case's back door on for transport.A great stong and light weight rack case.

Needed a case for my Clear Com wireless base station that would allow protection of antennas and allow quick deployment. This was the perfect case. Enough room for unit and power supply. Antennas fold up and case back goes on with plenty of room to just fold antennas down. Very happy with this well built sturdy field case.

Bought for my Ampeg Pro 7 head. The 2U fits it perfectly, but with zero room for any storage. I replaced a 4U standard size that I was sick of lugging around. I strongly recomend these.

I purchased two of these racks separately and both had an issue that made them unusable. The rack rails are tapped inconsistently and slightly too narrow for the provided SKB rack screws, which prevents about 40% of them from being screwed in. I've never experienced a problem like this with a rack case before, and this is an inexcusable design flaw on SKB's part. Get the old SKB X-Rack or Gator's shallow racks instead.

I got this to put a wireless IEM in and it worked perfectly. I saw that many had issues with the hole thread matching up with the screw thread. I did have to use more pressure with a couple of the screws, but not to the point that it was concerning. I have to agree with other that the locking mechanisms are weaker than what you would find on most touring gear. The compactness of the shallow case meets my needs and the hard plastic that the case is made out of seems sturdy.

Great quality case. I love the size but unfortunately it was a little too shallow for what I needed. I returned through Amazon drop off at no cost and bought the longer version. Make sure you double check.

Rugged and good looks. All the hardware is included. Everything lines-up correctly and Installation of components is simple and easy to do.The shallow design is perfect for your rack mounted solid state and/or hybrid heads, preamps, etc. . If you need another one they stack solidly.

Este case supero mis expectativas de calidad, muy buena construcción y materiales, lamentablemente lo tuve que devolver por qué yo necesitaba para un amplificador y este es para periferia (ecualizadores, procesadores, etc) las medidas en la descripción no eran muy claras, comprare otro de las misma marca que se adapte a mis necesidades.
