Nice length, iron-on easy to apply, adheres great. Trimming off the excess to a nice clean edge was by far the hardest part. I found that once you trim away the excess edging, it's not a good idea to try to sand any minor raggedness in your trim job - tiny bits of glue melt or otherwise make their appearance during the sanding process, which you then have to remove. Not the fault of this trim, it's just the nature of the job - the product is great!

The product is good. The outcome was just ok. It may have been my fault.I applied this "edgebanding" to some shelves. The concept is straightforward. I cut to size (slightly over) and used a hot iron to apply. The process worked well enough for my purpose - storage shelves. The results would not be good enough for fine furniture. 1) In some places the veneer did not sit perfectly flat against the wood. A thin glue line was visible.* 2) There were some areas where the glue appeared to soak through the wood or it squished out from the sides. The outcome is that the glue was burned onto the surface of the veneer. It left some black streaks on the finished surface. 3) As other people reported, there are some seams. That's fine for storage shelves. Would not be good for an actual piece of furniture. All things considered I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it for most situations.* - On the later shelves I would turn the piece over after applying the veneer and press down against a hard level surface. That seemed to help.

I found it so easy to use. I was able to use scissors to cut it. A couple pieces bubbled but I ironed them back down with steam and a towel. I finished this project a year ago and it has held up great with daily use. I put a clear coat over it when finished.

This roll of 2" birch veneer has a good amount of adhesive on back of it. I was using to make door frame look good after 70 years of dog scratches and people dragging stuff past it. Use a power sander, 320 grit to remove any bumps in old finish and this helps to provide a surface for adhesive to get a good bite. Cloths iron on medium worked but do a test on scrap surface to get right temp for your equipment. Use butcher paper that does not have plastic, between iron and veneer to keep from marring. High temp release paper is even better as adhesive can come out at edge.Super value for your money and good quality ,flexible for most curved finishes. It took stain nicely, I use "pre stain wood treatment" before staining so no blotches just good looking color.

Horrible adhesion. I’ve put on hundreds of feet of edge banding, this is the worst brand I’ve ever used. Doesn’t adhere evenly, lots of puckers/bubbles/gaps. Veneer is thinner than others I’ve used which I may contribute to it not laying flat, but I think the main problem is the glue which isn’t up to the task. A waste of time and money, and time can’t be refunded.

Luckily, the piece we were using this for was getting painted- this edge banding is thinner than others we've used, and has seams quite regularly. The adhesive was good, but there were some areas that buckled and bubbles formed. We were able to sand out most of the irregularities, but if the unit isn't being painted, I'd spring for some higher quality edge banding.

Amazon had the best price on item, which was not even available with well known building supplier retailers locally. Shipping was quickItem arrives in unmarked package and has zero instructions/tips for useYou can use a regular IRON (for clothing) and press on the veneer to desired surfaceAdhesion is pretty good, press back and forth to ensure adhesion. Do NOT use STEAM, per youtube videoHardest part was to trim excess off of edge.To get best results, you should buy a guillotine type cutter and edger specific for this type of product, but you can also use regular scissors or Xacto knife with straight edge, depending how exacting your standards are. Sanding and staining can help hide defective cutting skillsOne tip: do not measure & cut the veneer. You will come up short. It's better to apply the veneer onto desired surface and trim as neededThe wood is very nice and smooth. Takes up stain beautifullyThank you amazon for great price and service

The quality is fine, easy to use and seems to stick really well. The finger joins are barely noticeable and not that frequent, they can easily be sanded and blended. I cut the 2inch width down the centre and got two 1inch widths out of it, it was successful on 7/8 inch plywood edges.
