The most important thing to know about cast iron cookware is that it can get very hot and it retains its heat for a long time. Since most cast iron products are cast in one piece, the handles can get equally hot, and heat resistant sleeves or devices must be placed on handles to avoid accidental burns. In this case, these sleeves were too loose and tended to slip off, especially when exposed to heat. This factor must be considered in future designs.

It barely has any "teeth" on the inside and doesnt hold the pot handle well.âš«Heat - helps a little bit with heat, but eventually it will just heat up since its too thin.âš«Grip - it doesnt matter if it grips to your hand if it slips out of the pot handleJust go for a better quality. I got the tramontina brand which was $9 but you can get any other brand as long as it has thicker silicone and can actually grip your pot handles. I only use 1 for all my 4 pots. Yes, I remove it and put it on another pot.

This handle is slight bigger for lodge cooking pan cast iron. It is very easy to insert in and out of the handle without any issue. The overall size of the silicon handle is big and may need to trim if you decided to do it. In terms of the thickness of the material it is decent thickness however it does not guarantee that it prevents from heat. I will say that this quality material thickness is not as good as lodge handle.To protect yourself from burn, make sure to use extra support like gloves or thicker fabric.

Muy buenas, cumplen con su objetivo de aislar lo caliente. Yo las usé en sartenes y ollas de hierro fundido y funcionan muy bien. Evitan accidentes por quemaduras.
