I just received this sketchbook and was pleasantly surprised how sturdy it is. The front and back covers are heavy weight and the inside paper is high quality. I like the size of it. Its not too small. I plan on using graphite but I'm sure it could handle ink as well.

My 6 year old absolutely loves his Sketch Book! It’s the perfect size, markers don’t bleed through, great quality and the perfect amount of pages.

The paper is this sketch book is hefty. I know nothing about sketching or painting. But a 91yo friend of mine recently told me she used to sketch before marriage and kids reduced her free time. So, now that she has plenty of free time, I thought she might like to revisit her creative side. She loves this book, and the price is right.
