This is the second one of these I have purchased. One went on a 2007 550F Freestyle Session and the other a 2007 Legend Trail V800. In both cases, it was just a matter of finding the open plug under the dash/tank cowling, drilling a hole, and plugging it in. It is secured through the hole with the threaded ring on the protective cover. Now my kids won't have fogged up helmet shields anymore!
