I'm pleasantly surprised by the appearance of this skin. From most angles it's completely unnoticeable. Immediately after installing there were a few small bubbles. However, they worked themselves out overnight. The instructions aren't great. Use tape to hold the larger end of the skin in place while you apply the smaller end to help with alignment.I expect that over time the edges of the skin will wear and collect dirt but I'm using it to protect against scratches form debris that gets trapped in a hard case. The edges of the MacBook won't be protected but 90% of the computer is covered. If you're going caseless, the skin adds a bit of grip. This will be a day-one accessory for me in the future.

I bought this even though one of the review mentioned that it would not.Sure, it is my fault buying it despite the warning.Sure, skins do leave corners exposed due to fit issue.But I was expecting a reasonable gap, not like half a centimeter short every corner.I just can't understand their logic because corner is where most of the damage from normal use occurs. How the heck they thought straight up exposing that area was a good idea?At least installation was easy and dust attraction free... though the skin looks different on each side of the wax paper... like as if they glued two different films together.I just can't recommend this product... I wish I can return it, but I'm sure I can't because the film's already used.

A good way to isolate hands from aluminum case and avoid exposure to aluminum hydroxide. I would say it is too expensive for what it is and also matte color is not consistent.

You can see all the streaks from the squeegee. The bottom protector doesn’t stick on the edges since they’re rounded and is already peeling off, disappointed with this purchase. I can’t even return it after applying it. I will talk to costumer service to report faulty product.

This is a “must buy†accessory for your MacBook Pro laptop. This is a protective “skin†that you stick onto your laptop to keep your laptop looking new. Included in the package are the following items:2 Cleaning pads, 2 sets of dust bunny stickers, 1 lid and bottom skin protector, trackpad and 2 wrist pad protectors. The skin is made of a flexible pvc liner and low tack or static cling adhesive.Honestly, the included instructions could be better, but once you look at the included parts, it is pretty straight-forward on how to use the product. If you have installed phone screen protectors in the past, this will be easy for you.It took me about 10 minutes to install this product and fully protect my laptop. The best part about this skin was that it had a matte finish and if you have a stray dust ball or two, it will not show up. It is also “bubble-freeâ€, so you don’t need to worry about trapped bubbles underneath the skin.It is also lightweight and does NOT add any additional weight to the lid. I previously used laptop “covers†and noticed that it added a slight amount of weight to the lid and hinges. I saw some videos that mentioned over time, this extra weight messed up Apple’s specs and will prematurely wear out the two cover hinges. The skin also comes in different sizes, so make sure you get the right model (12, 14 or 14-Inches).This Product is made in Korea and was a little bend during transit. There were some parts on the skin that was noticeably shiny due to the scuffs from the bends. I’m going to reach out to the buyer and see if they can remedy this. Stuff from Korea are typically better quality than from China or USA. The Koreans pays great attention to detail and expect perfection - this product is no exception!I highly recommend this product to anyone that has a MacBook Pro. It will protect the laptop from direct scratches and scuffs. Unfortunately, it will not protect the laptop from dings or drops. This is not the same as the popular brand, and many similar competitors, that used self-healing TPU as their protective base.These are made from 3M all-weather vinyl with air release channels to simplify installation: no soapy water required. It’s not as thick or resilient as the other stuff because it’s not the same stuff.There’s nothing wrong with it. It’ll protect against stains and light scratches, but it’s not as durable as what you’re expecting. No utensil dragging.If this is still what you want, and you have a Space Black MacBook Pro, be sure to get the Space Black version. It has coloring to counteract the reflectivity of their normal vinyl, so the blacks stay black.
