SKS is a quality manufacturer in the bicycle industry, we have been keeping bikes rolling for over 100 years.
Our history began in 1921 when Karl Scheffer-Klute of Sundern, Germany began manufacturing curtain rods. His company was purchased in 1932 by Wilhelm Blome, who also purchased a tire inflator company, which inspired him to begin manufacturing metal pumps.
SKS is now known as a pump and bicycle fender manufacturer, along with accessories for your bike, including bike pumps, fenders, bags, tools, digital pressure gauges, bottle cages, cage adapters, and even phone holders.
SKS items are still designed and manufactured in Sundern, Germany. We will continue to innovate and manufacture the highest quality cycling accessories for years to come.
The Future is Orange
SKS Germany employs 400 people at our bicycle HQ in Sundern, and over 700 employees across our three combined divisions.
43% of our bicycle business is through aftermarket product sales while 32% is OEM product.
Annually, SKS Germany produces:
- 4.5 million full fenders
- 2 million clip-on fenders
- 1.2 million bicycle pumps
This totals over 18,000 fenders per day and 3,200 pumps per day!
Revamping the classics
In 2022 the SKS full fender line was renewed. The classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II full fenders were replaced with the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders.
Both models are made using the same chromoplastic fender material. But, the Bluemels now come with black hardware and are available in more sizes than before.
The Bluemels Style fenders feature a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and come with a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear fender.
SKS Germany continues to be a leader in clip-on fender options as well.

I didn't see any pictures showing how the 37-40mm looked, so I took some measurements with a micrometer and attached the pictures in this review.Diameter 36.55mm = firmly pressed together;Diameter 37mm = ~2-3mm gap;Diameter 40mm = ~10mm-13mm gap;In terms of quality, the bracket is made of a sturdy feeling plastic that is thinner on the back and thicker on the side with the bolt. The threaded part of the bolt is about 35mm long. The plastic ring has an inset where the locking nut fits in to prevent it rotating while installing, and there's a locking washer for the other side.This should work pretty well if your fork/frame has a diameter from ~37 to 40mm, but would work even better at slightly smaller sizes using some rubber or padding to keep it snug. It might be a better option to order the 40-43mm size if you need to fit a 38 to 40mm diameter, then use padding to fill any gaps.Giving 5 stars since it does exactly what it needs to, even though I think the advertised sizing is too optimistic. Hopefully these pictures will help you make a more informed purchase.

They just barely fit my 38mm forks with no fender mount tabs. They did work fine.

Bought these clamps to attach front fender on my e-bike. Stated they fit 37mm-40mm … wrong they are only 35mm.

In the picture there is obviously a spacer within the clamps in the product image, yet it did not come with them.

Los tuve que comprar para mi bicicleta para montarselos en los guardabarros delanteros los cuales no especificaba que no los llevaba incluidos. Dado que los guardabarros con todos los accesorios me costaron unos 20 euros encuentro caro que unas simples arandelas con un tornillo valgan este precio. Por lo demás cumplen su función

Passen perfekt zum Schutzblech: https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B004FERDQ6?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleAufgrund eines fehlenden Lochs mit Gewinde in der Federgabel, habe ich mir die Halter hier zur Befestigung des Schutzblechs vorne gekauft.Zur Befestigung haben ich noch Unterlegter aus Gummi verwendet, da der Durchmesser der Federgabel nicht ganz mit dem der Schellen übereinstimmte. Die Schrauben sind kurz genug, dass sie nicht weit Richtung Laufrad überstehen und somit nicht stören. Alles hält bombensicher, also ein perfektes Zubehör für das obige Schutzblech.

Due to persistent wet weather I had to give in and put mudguards on my lovely eMountain bike, but they didn't come with attachments for the front forks.These do the job really well. I only question why the bolts are so ridiculously long. I'm going to have to cut these down but that always risks damaging the thread.
