The skull is beautiful. The craftsmanship by the hand carvers is top-notch. I wish that the one I received had more prominent horns like in the pictures, but I understand that each piece is unique.My only complaint about the craftsmanship is that with all the money spent on such a beautiful piece, they did a remedial job with the wire for mounting. They placed a very thick wire through the back which was long enough that it would be visible above the skull when hanging, it was also very roughly twisted. There was no finesse or subtlety to the hanging mechanism. It's okay, because I built a stand out of walnut anyway, but I just thought this could have been done better.
