Nice case for a good price! It's not a super high quality case, but it does appear to be pretty decent quality. For a student horn, it appears it'll provide appropriate protection for a good while. Love the variety of handles and straps and the large rear pocket! This case feels like the velvety liner is adhered directly to molded Styrofoam. A thin, padded liner like headliner material for cars, would be very nice. I recommend this for young musicians' instruments.

Sturdy and protective. My 14 year old loves the ease of carrying this case on his back, protecting his trumpet and leaving his hands free.

Great replacement for our original trumpet case. My son was happy about the backpack straps and the fact that there is a pocket for his book. His only concern was that it was hard to close all the way the first time around. I don’t mind that it is a tight fit for the trumpet. Probably protects it better!

I purchased this trumpet case for my son to use for when he has band practice at school. When we first received it (one week ago) we were extremely happy with the quality, fit and weight of this case. My son was thrilled to be able to wear it as a backpack, which is the main thing we looked for in a case, because the difficulty of having to carry a case while walking home was his main complaint from his last hard shell case.He took this case to school TWO times, wearing it like a backpack, and today (his second day using the case) the backpack strap broke/ripped off of the main case as he was walking and wearing it. Definitely not the good quality we thought it was on first impression. We are so bummed out that this case broke so easily. Also note, my son is extremely careful with his things, so I know it was not broken due to negligence or bad treatment; and really.. only two uses! I really wish I felt confident enough to purchase another one of these bags, but instead just got a refund and paid an extra $50 for (hopefully) a better quality case that will last longer then two trips to school.

My daughter loves this trumpet case. Has a pocket outside for her music sheets. Haven't used the backpack feature yet, but nice to know it's there. There's also a place / socket / hole for her mouth piece.

This case did not come as advertised. The inside was a rigid foam without the soft coverings pictured and the trumpet did not fit at all lengthwise.
