It was a perfect fit for my daughter's Yamaha c flute. The over the shoulder strap is sturdy, the main zipper is a little rough (can't help it, zipper has to track around the interior case). The outside pocket is roomier than her last case, so, overall, my daughter really likes it.

The case seems well-made and sturdy. It is nice enough looking, has a good amount of padding inside and is comfortable to carry.I am a bit concerned that it might be treated with something that could be toxic, but don't have any evidence of that.

I've bought a few of these for about $25 each for my flute students. my only complaint is that there isn't any good place to put a cleaning rod.
