Love this bag! Great color fits the flute well. We like the zippered pouch on the front for extra flute items like extra cleaning cloth etc. Durable and great for toting here and there safely. Much preferred to flute cases that pop open.

It's important to note that we bought the purple case as each different color seems to be made differently. It is for a replacement for the very worn hard case of a used Armstrong flute for our 10 year old and unfortunately, the instrument does not fit as well in the slots - they are loose and she has to be careful when she opens the case. I also posted a question about the location of the slot for the cleaning rod and overall response is a "slot above the lid where the zippers are" - which we did not find without success. It seems the purple case does not have that slot. I took a picture (as attached here) where that slot is and already saw a small tear on the edge by the zipper (we just purchased and received today, she has not even taken it to practice!). Am not sure how long this case will last. The color is great - exactly as posted and it's lightweight - love the front pocket for her cleaning supplies. Overall though does not seem to be very well made and concerned about how well the instrument fits. Only time will tell.

Great replacement for an older case, much easier to manage for a student than a hard one. As other reviewers have commented about that there is no place for the cleaning rod that does not hit or touch the instrument. Real oversite. Other than that would be 5 stars. Great color too.

This is our second case, because apparently instruments are super fun to toss around after school.....so after you're done knocking sense into your child, this case will help your sanity. Fit well, made well, and even has a snazzy little zip pouch for the snack they insist on eating before blowing into their $500 hobby :)

The case itself works fine. Looks nice, loved the color. My daughter used it the first few months and the strap she was using broke. So she started using the other handle within the next few weeks it ripped out as well. It came with a shoulder strap but she had not planned on using it and we put it up some where now we are going to have to try and find it so he will have a way to hold on to it. My daughter is legally blind and carries a cane so she had attached her flute to her rolling backpack so she wouldn't have to carry it. The only weight was the flute itself so I don't see where it would be any different the carrying it in your hand. I would have expected it to be more durable than to last 6 or 7 months. Don't know if maybe it was faulty, the straps both came lose on the same side?

Much nicer than the hard shell case that came with her flute. Much easier for her to carry when she has a backpack, lunch bag, and her flute.

The zippers are a bit tricky and I worry that it's going to set my flute out of alignment since it doesn't quite fit properly.
