Sturdy and good fit. Not hard but very well padded and rigid. Can’t sit on it but with other normal wear the instrument will be protected.

I just wanted a cheap case for this violin that I 3D printed. This case is light as a feather, so I'm not sure how much protection it would provide, but I don't plan on taking this on an airplane or anything. Violin (4/4) sits nicely inside, it's got the little inset box at the top for rosin/extra strings/etc, two bow slots, backpack straps, all your standard case features, even a matching cloth to lay over top.One star off for it not staying open; the diagonal strap to keep it from flipping open all the way is just a hair too short for the case to stay open, which is a bummer. Makes getting the violin out a bit of a pain and a bit risky for hitting some part of it.A decent case at a nice price.

This case is a replacement for a very old violin case. It is a very good looking and sturdy case.

The case was too small. Did not fit my son's 1/2 size violin. Not sure whether they sent the wrong size or if it was defective. I returned it and bought a nicer one from the local music store like I should have done in the first place.
