Used on our German shepherd with thick fur when he got fleas. These worked well. After a while, I think his skin became sensitive from all the combing because after a couple days he started shifting around like he was uncomfortable when we used the combs. But they were effective in catching fleas. Kept a cup of soapy water next to us so we could dump the fleas in there as soon as we caught one in a comb. I like that these came in a pack.

I was surprised how many fleas I was able to get with these combs. The only problem is that over time, the comb teeth starts to bend.

I like the comb with a handle. It works on a short smooth coat as well as curly.

but the fleas just fall right through the space and don’t come out. Maybe they’re just baby fleas but hard to use on fine shih tzu fur
