These are extraordinarily difficult to learn how to use. Plus, the foot is 17" up - making a fall far less forgiving than the smaller versions. The price is high, but the build quality is excellent.My kids have these and they're ~10" up. a +7" difference is HUGE.The entire time I was on these, I kept having intrusive thoughts. I kept thinking with my weight, if I fell wrong, or twisted a little going down, my knee would end up backwards. When my sub 100lb kids fall, it's no big deal, but with my weight going down, I would most definitely do some significant damage.I even put together a PVC "walker" in an effort to learn. And I was finally walking around, but could not shake the knee images in my head. I'm in my mid-40s, I don't want to never be able to run, jump, swim, or ride a bike again - not for these.Unfortunately, all of this meant they went back. I just can't do it.

These stilts are fantastic...i thought i could replace my bicycle, but I was wrong, since this device requires quite an effort for running. I lost 5 kgs in 2 weeks, and my methabolism is much higher.As an engineer, I would have designed differently the knee-cap (too weak).

My son has only used them a couple of days. He hasn't fallen but noticed a crack in the plastic already. It's more like a bubble that opened up in the manufacturing. I contacted the seller to ask if this was normal. He said it makes the stilts more beautiful...really....I can't find any information on the manufacturer.

Bought them for grandson. Took him a couple days to learn to walk in them but he loves them. Thankful for the pads that came with them.
