It's nice to find a part for a 20 year old piece of equipment that is 100% compatible and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Shipped overnight arriving at 7 am. Installed in less than a minute and worked just as it should. Standard plug for power and millivolt wires are idiot proof with different connector for each of two lines. Adapters included but not required.

A bit pricey for what it is. But was easy to install. Replaced an old wall mounted thermostat. Only issue I ran into was the remote wasn't working at first. After realizing the problem, I just had to reconnect the remote to the receiver which was very easy to do. After that it has worked great. I like that you don't have to actually point the remote at the fireplace to use it. Just have to be within like 20ft. And the receiver stays out of sight under the fireplace. Really nice.

It works perfectly . I wired identical to the other one . No issues. Took a little bit to program the switcher to the base.

After researching possible problems with my fireplace not starting, I determined it was the remote control device not supplying the current to the gas valve to open. I received the replacement the next day (great service), Installed the remote very easily and we are back in business. We love our gas fireplace insert. Keeps us cozy on cold evenings.
