I purchased a pair of these to connect 6 channels of my preamp-processor (LF, LS, SBL, RS, RF, C) to my multi-channel amplifier. I wanted something with better RF shielding than that of standard RCA-type interconnects, and was heavy-duty enough to hold up to difficult cable routings. I also wanted something that looked good, and was convenient to use. All of my "wants" are satisfied with these cables.The plug barrels are clear-coated metal with rubber grips, and taper to the wires, making "blind" insertion simpler. They also have a "high end" appearance. The 3-wire bundle can be split further to accommodate wide pin-in spacing or cross-component hookups , if necessary (and then rip-stopped with a zip tie, etc., if desired).These are substantial, heavy-duty cables that weigh about the same per foot as 12-ga outdoor extension cord. I can't imagine an installation that requires a co-joined trio of of RCA-type cables that these couldn't handle with ease.*****

It's hard to find a Component Video cable these days to connect TV's to home theater receivers and DVD players. The gear I own from 2003 is still great stuff but isn't supported any more. This cable looks like something that would have cost a pretty penny 19 years ago, so provides an excellent bang for the buck addition to my legacy home theater.

Great cables, didn't solve my problem as it was more involved than just getting component cabling. Build quality was good, heavy duty plugs.
