BT connection is fast and hassle-free. Sound is excellent. At first I had the provided USB-A to USB-C power cable plugged into my MacMini and everything sounded fine, if a little underwhelming. Then I connected it to a 5v linear power supply and BOOM -- an enormous and immediate improvement in sound quality, specifically in the lower frequencies. Definitely try an upgraded power supply if you're hoping to get the best performance out of your Slash receiver. It's in there.

Lifetime music head, system builder since high school, I purchased this solely based on the DAC section specs, I have several running currently in my audiophile set-up, right out of the box without Odin Gold RCA grade cables this 2 x 2 marvel has pin point imaging, bass, vocals, spatial separation to die for and I am not even using my best amplifiers, this thing will be a gem to audition amplifiers as its this simple.USB-C powerRCA out to any amplifier.Any blue tooth compatible device provides crystal clear sound not dry or shrill.$100 is insane when this thing gets attention look out it will be hard to get.My end game with this little gem what I really bought it for:I am building another car system and am going about it totally differently, hair will stand up w this Splash product streaming Tidal lossless beware.

Ever since the advent of digital devices and wireless transmitters/recievers, we have all adjusted to substandard sound quality. I mean it; no longer do we enjoy the depth, fidelity and ambience of the music we own. Today, most recordings are quite spatial and with the right high end digital receiver that cost well over a couple grand, you will know what I speak of. It would seem like you are right in the audience or arena where your favorite song is being played. Well, fret no more! For a very affordable price, this compact device brought back to me all the depth and detail that the recording originally intended. Vocals and instruments sound deeper, more balanced, and clearer, and frankly I've begun to hear other instruments that I never even heard before via regular bluetooth transmissions. I have used this in cars, planes and of course on my HiFi. The effect is undeniably awesome! Enjoy, while you rediscover the true sound of your music library!

I already own an Auris which has to be powered on and off manually, which is the main reason I purchased this. I was also expecting it to fit my standard RCA connectors on my amp, but I ended up having to use adapters. Is great for music. The color red is inside the RCA connector which drove me nuts because I didn't see the normal coloring outside of the connectors. I would definitely recommend this. I use it so I can stream music videos and movies from my TV to a KT-88 tube amplifier and speakers I built. Sounds incredible. ê°ì‚¬í•©ë‹ˆë‹¤

4/13/2024 Update.I have to provide an update to the review below. After 5 days of great audio, it rolled over and died. So disappointed with this adapter. It still paired instantly, but would not output any sound. Sending it back for a refund. Ordering something different, hopefully it will last longer than 5 days. Had a back and forth email chat with the Korean company, not very helpful. Think twice about buying one of these. Their QC seems non existent. Probably don’t even have a burn-in cycle to reject the marginally acceptable components.Have a pair of 70’s JBL100’s, powered by a McIntosh and preamp. This compact device sounds incredible. I listen to vinyl mostly, but it’s great to have another sound source. Can’t imagine the Slash6 sounding any better than the 3,

Bluetoth connection easy. Sound quality good. Had to use short cable to connect it to the amplifyer, because there was not enough spase around it, for this thing to plug directly in.
