Love this thing! I have tried many travel pillows. Though none can compare to a bed, this is the best so far. My kids thought it was hilarious and took lots of pictures of me on the plane. But I did not care since I was, for once, ASLEEP. It is a little awkward to get used to, as you are completely upright. But the sleep was good, and I woke up with a pain-free neck and back. I also like how small and packable it is compared to other travel pillows. Expensive, but worth it for me.

Best airplane pillow for sleep ever! Great neck support. Can’t wait to try it on a red-eye.

I finally got the chance to use this travel pillow on an airplane, and for the most part, I'd say it's not bad at all! It allows you to rest without your head moving too much or needing to lean to either side. However, at least the way I used it, I had a lot of pressure leaning forward, and with the design of the mask, it was very easy for the pressure to end up in my eyes, which wasn't necessarily uncomfortable, but I don't really want to have that kind of pressure on my eyes long term. I found positioning very finnicky as a result, but overall I'd say it's better than a traditional travel pillow that I wasn't able to use at the time due to ear pain.Additionally, I did encounter planes where I just wasn't ready to attach this to, as the seats didn't have the headrest "pillow" that you can wrap this around. I'm sure there was a way to, but then I'd be interfering with the screen of the passenger behind me. As a decidedly considerate person, I opted not to use this pillow in those scenarios.

I own a travel business and do a lot of international travel. I have yet to find the perfect travel pillow, and believe me, I've tried MANY. It seems that most pillows fall into a few basic categories (inflatable, memory foam, etc.), but this one is innovative. The design is completely different from any other pillow I've used in the past, so I was excited to try it. I did not receive it for free.Next week, my family and I are going on a long road trip. I bought a few travel pillows for us to test out. Foreshadowing: this pillow will not be joining us.TL;DR: Surprisingly comfortable and supportive. Lots of components, installation is annoying because it depends on aircraft chair type, pillow is cheap, repeated lifting and lowering of the mask tugged on hair, charging it with static and making it look crazy. What I like: · Innovative design · Secures your head really well. I like that your neck muscles can relax without you leaning into your neighbor's (precious) space without inconveniencing them (or will it? See below) · A lot of thought has been put into the design in terms of installing it and even carrying it. The carry bag has a special pouch for storing the straps, and the drawstring has a buckle you can attach to your carry-on. · It's cool that you can add messages to your eyeshades, such as "wake for food." When traveling alone, this is a great help. · It was thoughtful of them to include a plastic, breakaway clip for using the pillow on the road. In the case of an accident, you don't want the pillow to trap you. · The eyeshade material is soft. It touches the eyelids, but I have no problem with that. · I found the sizing to be highly customizable and easily adjustable no matter what your head size. What I didn't like: · The pillow insert feels super cheap with microbead filling. It's not supportive or cushy, but at least you can squish it however you want. This isn't a deal-braker for me. · Fiddly setup. This isn't the fault of the designer. They needed a design that would work for all airline seats and all head restraints. As you can imagine, this is a tall order. Since the pillow has to fit so many configurations, there's a lot of "if this, then that" with the setup. It's not their fault, but still, this is a pain. Nobody wants to watch a YouTube tutorial to use a travel pillow. (Note to creator: please include better instructions on the website. I didn't like having to forward my way through a YT video with various configurations I DIDN'T need to find the one I DID need. Would've been easier to click a hyperlink, like "Installing in a car? Click here!" and have it take me to diagrams and maybe a GIF or two). · Chance of non-compatibility. Although the pillow can work in just about every type of configuration, that doesn't mean you'll be able to use it. If you're sitting in a chair that has a screen on the back of the headrest (and that doesn't have its own embedded headrest WITHIN the headrest), you can't use this pillow - the straps will block the video screen of the person seated behind you. Yeah, you can ask that person if they mind you blocking it, but let's be honest, nobody is LESS charitable towards their fellow human than someone packed into coach for a trans-oceanic flight. · The eye shade flips up if you want to use the pillow while watching a movie, working on your laptop, talking to your neighbor, etc. I didn't find that flip up to work great. It felt weird and like it was still blocking my vision a bit. I also looked more stupid than usual. · Size: it's somewhat big. It carries well with its case, but if you're traveling to multiple cities, you're going to have to find a decently-sized place for this in your suitcase. · CRAZY HAIR. This was the ultimate killer. To use this pillow to truly secure your head and take pressure off of your neck, you have to set it pretty snug. Feels great! But any time you raise or lower the eye shades, it pulls on your hair. Not in a way that hurts, but in a way that charges it with static and makes you look like a mad professor. The more you lift and lower, the more unhinged you look, and the more concerned you'll be if you have thinning hair. Maybe on an 8+ hour flight, this won't bother you and the tradeoff will be worth it. But what about a three-hour flight? What about work travel, where you have to lead a meeting upon arrival? Will this bother you? · When I bought this, there was only one review, and it included a video of a woman. I do believe that this video features, and was submitted by, the creator of the product. You'll see her picture also featured in the product photos and on the website. This leaves a SUPER BAD taste in the mouth. If you're the creator and you want to submit a review, that's fine! But own up to it, and use it to create rapport with potential buyers. I've seen authors review their own works and get hundreds of helpful votes from it. For all I know, the creators are great people, but this comes off as sneaky and manipulative. Is this pillow worth $75? It's not (in my opinion). It's an inexpensive microbead pillow, two straps, a few velcro patches, and some clips. It's a lot of parts to keep together in a situation where you're already keeping track of plenty. It's fiddly, and you're going to look like you just stepped out of a hurricane simulator. If you want to try this out, I recommend buying it in advance like I did and testing it in your car before your trip. That way, you have time to return it if it isn't your favorite. Maybe it's your HG travel pillow, but if it's not, get your $75 back.

If your seat doesn’t have the additional head rest thingy (ie seats in economy) this thing doesn’t really work. Even if you can figure out a way to Jerry rig it, the velcro doesn’t really support the weight of your noggin. Didn’t bring any other pillow on this flight because I was so confident in this working. What a shame.

Most comfortable pillow ever. Keeps your head upright and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get some sleep on long flights.

I've never been a fan of neck pillows for traveling. I thought that this would be a better option. It takes a lot of finagling to get it to set up right. After getting it set hen your head is pinned to the chair which isn't the most comfortable thing. It's kind of hard to use with noise, canceling headphones. You've either got to have it under the headphone or more likely outside them. It seems like a good idea but it's just not quite there.
