Your cart is empty.This mortise style patio door handle set is constructed of diecast material. It includes an inside handle with an outside non-locking pull. The interior handle features a white diecast thumb latch lever. It comes in a painted white finish and fits on 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" thick doors. The exterior diecast pull also comes in a painted white finish. The handle set mounts on the surface of the sliding door frame via two mounting holes that set are spaced apart at 3-15/16 inches (center to center). This item is a reversible, non-handed handle set that can be mounted on both left-hand and right-handed sliding doors. This patio door handle set is used by many patio door manufacturers. A mortise lock component is included with this handle set for fully replacement or new installation. All fasteners necessary for installation of this item are included within package.

This handleis cheaply made and will probably not last long. Lock latch is already becoming loose. Screws did not fit holes very well. One screw stripped almost immediately because of tight hole. Ended up using one old screw from my original handle, which fit better than screw that came with this handle. Will have to borrow a tool to get stripped screw out and replace with the other original screw.

This was the second handle that I purchased. The first from a different manufacturer for some unknown reason didn't have the latch handle in the center. The Sankins did engineer the door handle so you could put the latch handle almost anywhere! The Sankins also came with different sized screws for different door thickness. The holes lined up well with my door so it was installed in a matter of minutes. I think the hole is size 8/32 -- the bottom hole seemed a little big so the provided size screw spun a lot. I bought 10/24 sized screw and it fit perfectly.

This was very inexpensive and sleekly built. It's design provides much better leverage than the average pull handle. By placing the face nearly flush to the door itself, it forces the pull side to side rather than out. That dynamic makes it less likely to break from yanking the door open or stingy track that has gotten dirty.
