I picked up this bin for our bathroom in the bonus room and it would have been perfect in there too.The problem is- My teenage daughter was lurking around when I unboxed and got this set up and decided that she would keep it for her bathroom instead! I'm not mad because she did need a new bin and knowing the quality, I'm just going to order another when I finish my review. I mean...for $20 you can't go wrong!This arrived super fast, protected by plastic and packed with foam- inside a cardboard box. There were instructions, despite set up (installing two AA batteries) being incredibly simple.There are just two pieces to this- the bin itself and the lid. You don't have to deal with one of those annoying rings that goes around the top of the bin. The lid sets right on the bin (base) and stays in place perfect. Even though the top piece is heavier than the (empty) bin underneath, this does not top over- even if you happen to bump it a bit hard with your knee or give it a little kick with your foot. The dimensions listed are spot on, so this really does fit just about anywhere.Now I realize that this is an odd adjective to describe a garbage bin, but my daughter and I both agree that this is the cutest little bin ever! Honestly, it really doesn't look like a bin! It is very clean and sleek and almost looks like a gift box instead of a garbage bin. You know what? I'll take it! This is an acceptable bin for ANY room or anywhere you need to dispose of trash- not just the bathroom. While it looks small (and adorable) from the outside, it's size is a bit deceiving because this holds quite a bit! Let's put it this way- this can last a whole week (trash day to trash day) in a teenage girls bathroom without looking like a volcano about to erupt.This is made of plastic, but it is thicker, nice quality plastic- not the junk that feels like a cheep kids toy. It is also easy to wipe clean, which I appreciate, especially because it's white.Operation is beyond simple and I think it's great that you can open the lid by a wave of a hand OR a bend of a knee. The sensor, which works REALLY well without being overly sensitive, detects motion on the top of the lid and in the front. That makes it very easy to open the lid when your hands are full. Having this dual sensor, I wouldn't want to go back to a bin that just picks up motion from the top. The lid opens quick and quiet. Of course you hear the sound of a motor (it's not 100% silent), but it probably wouldn't wake a sleeping baby or even a light sleeping partner. Overall, I am VERY pleased with this and about to order another right now.

This is a great little trash can that works perfectly in our bathroom! I am SO happy to finally have a trash can with a lid—no more yucky wipes or tissues on display, lol. The motion sensor is a game-changer, making it completely hands-free and sanitary.It arrived very well packaged, and setup was super easy—just insert 2 AA batteries (not included), add a trash bag (also not included), and place the lid on top. There are no extra rings or complicated parts to deal with, which I really appreciate. At first, I worried it might topple over since the lid is heavier than the base, but it’s actually very well-balanced, and I’ve had zero issues with it tipping over.It’s made of plastic, but the material feels thicker and sturdier than many plastic trash cans I’ve used. It has a non-slip base which I appreciate. The sensor works really well. It stays open for about 5 seconds before closing, although it does have a long-open button next to the sensor that you can press to keep it open longer, then press again to close it. The sensor is also not overly sensitive, so it doesn’t randomly open when you just walk by.Another big plus? It’s quiet! You hear a slight noise when it opens, but it’s way quieter than other automatic trash cans I’ve seen. The lid closes softly—no loud bangs.We've been using it for almost a month now and so far the batteries are working as well as the day I installed them. I will come back and update if it starts eating batteries, but I don't think it will.Size-wise, it’s perfect! It holds about a week’s worth of trash for the two of us, yet it fits neatly into the small space between the wall and toilet. Plus, it looks modern and sleek, adding a nice touch to the bathroom.Overall, this is a fantastic little trash can—hands-free, space-saving, quiet, and well-made. If you’re looking for a compact, stylish, and functional option, I highly recommend it!
