This brush is made from a 100 percent birch wood handle, goat hair bristles for delicate works, and chrome plated copper tube that houses and holds its quills. This soft tip brush is suitable for applying both edible gold or silver as well as gilding projects as the fan brush is light weight and versatile for fine details in your arts and craft projects. this brush is a little smaller than i thought, and the handle is small too,but it worked ok for what i was using it for, i might get one larger next time'
