I talked to an assistant at my vet's office explaining that my dog was vomiting substantially undigested food. She asked whether my dog was a fast eater. When I told her my dog speed gulps her food, she told me to try using a "maze" bowl. Some reviews indicated that dogs were chewing up plastic bowls, and I personally avoid using any plastic products. So for me it had to be made out of stainless steel. I am so pleased with this product. It stopped both the speed gulping and the vomiting. It is very sturdy and the non slip design makes it virtually noiseless. However, it is rather shallow and may not be as effective for over 1 1/2 cups.

Got this for my GSD because she eats way too fast. Loved that it's stainless steel, dishwasher safe, & has the silicone on the bottom to prevent sliding.

Pretty effective. The flower pattern may be better, but the paw is a nice balance of contour and volume to keep my pups from wolfing yhe whole meal in eight seconds.Solid stainless w/o being too heavy. Can definitely use for larger portions.

I have a 3 year old Golden Retriever and he practically inhales his food without chewing it and sometimes throwing it up immediately 🤢😖 This bowl is the solution to his problem! He takes his time now. In order for this dish to work correctly, I only serve 1 &1/2 cups of his large dog kibble at a time. It is a shallow dish, but it really works! My boy is actually crunching his kibble now and keeping down! 🥰â¤ï¸ðŸ’–

My 10yo lab-mix senior pup is a fast eater, and I swear she inhales her meals. I've used a variety of slow feeder bowls but they were plastic and eventually became stinky no matter how many times I ran them through the dishwasher. Alas, the 4-cup stainless steel non-slip slow feeder dog bowl by AIPERRO! It stays in place when she licks the bowl clean and it's easy to wash by hand as well as in the dishwasher. Stainless steel water and food bowls are hygienically healthier for our pets, and it's important to me to keep my pup healthy throughout her twilight years!

My dog can't chew this bowl as it's stainless steel. Meal time has improved as the design doesn't allow her to inhale her food. Now she's actually chewing her kibble and that has made a huge improvement on her flatulence. Very happy with this product!!

As soon as I took it out the package I was very skeptical. My kids saw it and immediately aloud said “Those shapes are too shallowâ€. They were right. We had a ceramic slow feeder that was PERFECT. Sadly as I was cleaning it, it slipped through my fingers and shattered. Also got a not so fun cut on my hand as a result. So I wanted to find a replacement that was sturdier and less fragile. I thought this would fit the bill, but sadly it does not. We tried it for two days and I timed him eating from it, and it did slow him down by about 30 seconds (1 minute total). This isn’t sufficient for us as the other bowl forced him to slow down substantially (5 minutes total…he eats his food in 30 seconds in a standard bowl). I am returning this and just going to have to go and get the other bowl again and just be extra careful when cleaning it.

The build and quality of the bowl is good but unfortunately doesn't have the non slip silicon on the bottom that is advertised. This meant my dog just pushed the bowl around the floor and made a lot of noise. Seller gave me a full refund which was good.

I was looking at ceramic slow feeders and found this one. I ordered it because my English Bulldog was using a plastic one which was becoming less and less hygienic, and he was tossing around after he finished eating. He can still move this one but it is much heavier. It still slows him down and is much easier to keep clean. However if your dog eats more than one cup the “bumps†are only one cup deep so any more than that they will be able to consume fairy rapidly. Others have said the rubber ring has come off I’ve used this for a week now and the rubber is still well attached. I would recommend this but only if your feeding one cup at a time.
