I'm giving it five stars because it's ridiculous. It's very loud, drones really bad, it's obnoxious and very boomy in the interior. It was well packaged, all items were nicely labeled P (passenger side) or D (driver's side). Installation was fairly easy, all the parts came together nicely and fit well. If you daily drive your Corvette or even have the slightest thought of being hesitant about drone, I would not recommend this exhaust. For everything else, it's great! Loud and rowdy.

I don’t know what everyone is talking about. It isn’t that loud. But I was also expecting NASCAR loud with the design. It wasn’t much louder than the previous mufflers I had. At least I know it’s more free flowing.

I Bought this product a couple years ago for my 2006 Corvette Convertible. SLP had them on back order and it was nearly impossible to find these at the time. I was amazed that Amazon carried them. It even cost me $100 less than the performance shops around here were charging.The stock exhaust on the Corvette was barely audible. The SLP Loud Mouth II woke the car up. It actually sounds like a sports car without being too overbearing. I like the deep rumble and drone of the car now. It won't be so loud that you will get extra attention from the police (as if Corvettes don't already have that problem enough). The original Loud Mouth is much louder. For most Corvette owners, the Loud Mouth II will suffice. I also added a K&N cold air intake and got the car retuned after adding both of those. There is a very modest HP gain, but that is not what I purchased this for. In my opinion, I don't think you will be disappointed with this product.

This came very quickly,packed really well and seems to be high quality especially for the price. Had it installed today and almost went back to the corvette shop to have removed. At 65-70 mph it is way too loud. Not a drone vibration but the exhaust sound itself. That's with a manual transmission in 6th gear. I'll try to get used to it. First time I was a little nervous stopped at a light next to a police car. And this is with the Loudmouth 2.

Pipes fit perfect. Sound is amazing. Real throaty at a idle. Has a beller when you take off then just a throaty sound while driving.

I bought this for my 2005 Corvette. If you have access to a car lift it is very easy to install. We did have to cut the old muffler and exhaust pipe apart to get it out of the car, but that was easily accomplished with a reciprocating saw.The rumble at idle and with acceleration are great. The exhaust is easy to hear in the car during normal driving with the windows up and the stereo down low, but gets rather loud during acceleration, drowning out the stereo. If you like that sort of thing, you will enjoy this exhaust system very much.
