This did the job perfectly. You have to work out the best angle to get it sharpest but when you do it really does sharpens with no effort. Played shortly after sharpening and the only bounce outs I got was for hitting the wire dead on.

I purchased in February and it didn't work. Just now got around to buying a new battery and still doesn't work. Brand new battery and the motor is poor. Too late for the return window. Waste of money.

I am a female who been playing darts recreationally for 20 years. My husband has been playing longer but he’s definitely much more competitive and is always practicing. I got this tool because I hate hand sharpening and everyone always sharpens my darts for me which is embarrassing. The hand sharpeners just don’t work for me and I see no difference after trying to use them.I had to put my dull darts into this for a few minutes and did both sides repeatedly while gently and slowly spinning the darts. I have a much better point on both of my sets of steel darts now. I assume after the initial sharpening I won’t need to put them in as long. It is likely that hand sharpening could do a better job. That being said I don’t hand sharpen and I love this tool just based on the convenience it provides. I would have deducted half a star if I could since it does not have any purple on it (like the picture) and is just plain silver but for many that will be a plus.

Exactly what I expected... maybe just a little smaller.. it is basically a combination of a mini knife sharpener and a glorified nose hair trimmer. I would suggest making sure to spin the dart gently while sharpening or it will file down the dart tip unevenly. All in all it does the job

Absolutely no power definitely not enough to sharpen a steel tip. You have to push so lightly, but it barely sharpens it. Going to just use my bench grinder.

Ordered in July. Used it to sharpen my darts. It worked great until it stopped working 2 weeks ago. Thought maybe the battery was dead, so bought new battery for it. Still doesn't work. Aggravating... Relatively cheap but still, seems not worth the money
