I think that these cognac glasses are a great deal. Not only are they somewhat compact so that they do not have much of a footprint, but despite that they are still able to convey the subtle aromas of XO effectively. Glass thickness seems sturdy, hand-feel is easy and substantial, and they have kind of a unique profile. Definitely a nice way to transport yourself away from the gray, ordinary existence of a middle class living room. And at a price point that allows one a little leftover for another bottle.

I bought these because I broke my favorite cognac glass. These are beautiful little glasses that do just what the seller says...they are great for sipping cognac or brandy. They come in what is probably the nicest packaging I have seen...perfect for gift giving. Recommended.

Purchased for a cognac drinker. the packaging was nicely done, so as a gift it was spot on. The glasses were another story, all intact, no chips, not dirty as I had seen other reviews citing this. The glass is thick, and heavy, with a big lip, a bit of a juice glass , not thin and elegant as anticipated. They only allow for a small nose, my partner still has trouble downing his cognac without tipping his head back quite far. Basically, nothing wrong as a general gift, but not user friendly for what they are supposedly intended. we use them but not for cognac or brandy...
