We use these for added securement on Trucatch cat traps for TNR. We put them low near the rings on the one door so cats cannot pull the trap cover in and then the rings can come up, therefore risking escape. I meant to buy the 12†size but ordered these by mistake. They still do the job but need a tight pull. Just be sure to point the tip of the hooks “out†So less chance of cat catching their paw if they try scratching at things to get out.

Did not expect it but these are the smallest cords I every seen. the are 12 inches but are very tiny.
