This is an updated review. I had initially given only one star, for reasons I won't repeat, but let's just say that when you get to be my age, you may have problems with your vision. I'm now giving 5 stars.I think the most appropriate way to evaluate this product is to compare how it does with other televisions in the same category, rather that comparing with larger, more expensive televisions. My main purpose in getting this was to have a TV that would pick up the local stations whenever there is a power outage (That's not an uncommon occurrence in Tornado Alley). This it does very well. The battery lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, more than enough to last through most severe weather. The antenna has a magnetic base, and it works better than I expected it to work.It also operates while charging the battery, so for times when the power is on, it serves as an extra TV. It had no problem pulling in and registering quite a few local stations. The sound is good and plenty loud.On the con side, the screen has a rather narrow optimal viewing angle range, so you pretty much have to be viewing on a line perpendicular to the screen. Again, however, I am not comparing with more expensive TVs, and a better screen might draw more power, decreasing viewing time with the battery, as well as raise the price point, putting it out of the running with similar units.There are quite a number of different features beyond just using this to receive broadcast TV, but I haven't yet tested any of those features. I'm not sure when I'll get around to that, but I wanted to update this review now. Once I figured out what was going on (the reason for one star), it thought it unfair of me not to raise my rating.

Tried it upon arrival and the picture is of very good quality. Attached an amplified antenna and picked up almost 50 channels here in Chicago.

Y’all when I say amazing! I mean AMAZING!!! I was totally in shock to see how amazing the picture was. To get tv with the battery, put it on air, I thought it was broken on cable. Y’all!! No cable antenna only I got over 96 channels. Including. Locals. This is a must for lights out days. It even have an FM radio. USB to watch movies and games it also and head form port. It’s so worth it.

Picture, FM feature very nice. Light weight, good sound. Could use a longer lasting battery or an add on external.

utilise en roadtrip, le fun est que tu peux accédé au poste local avec ces composantes de base, fonctionne très bien, facile d'utilisation, même en temps de manque électrique, le brancher sur batterie 12v.accès aussi à la radio très claire.
