Received my order and to my surprise they are better looking than what I expected. Looks great on the homemade keep sake boxes I made from some cedar and pine I had left over from a different project. I know they are small and are built as best it can for its size. They could be built a bit heavier for a little bit more durability. You also need a pair of tiny needle nose or tweezers to hold the screws. Overall a good addition to home projects.

The hardware itself is fine for the price.I pre drilled the holes for the screws but they broke off very easily. Not great quality.

These are nice looking latches but they will not hold anything together. Don't expect these to hold your box closed or tightly latched. These are very thin and should only be used as a decorative latch and nothing more.If you need something to keep the box closed or secure you'll want to use an actual trunk or box latch. If your box sits on a table or shelf and doesn't ever move around or get used frequently then these might work just fine.Good luck.
