I raised my first two sets of chicks and ducks in this pen. The fact that you can zip the top was a lifesaver for when my chicks learned they could fly out. The side openings make it easy to run brooder plate cords out. It held up great to two batches of chicks and a batch of ducks. The ducks wore mine out worse because they did what baby ducks do and constantly spilled water. I wouldn’t recommend using for ducklings for that fact, but it made do until they could go outside. If duckling go in it, it needs a tarp under it for water spillage. But it is the best for chicks. It’s very spacious and had plenty of room for near 20 chicks, two brooder plates, two starter roosting perches, a feeder and waterer. Mine held up great and only ripped due to my fault for dragging it over briars. It’s easy to dump out and spray with a water hose and cleans very easily. I will definitely be buying another one and highly recommend.

Used this for baby chicks and 4H bunnies. Durable, love the 3 different zipper openings to catch the little ones. Lots of space to run and for food and water containers. The bottom also zips for easy cleaning. Very good product for a great price.

I like the fully enclosed large pen. It kept the cats out and the chicks Safe. I also liked that the bottom unzipped so they could be taken outside and scratch around on the ground on nice days. It is also convenient that it can be folded down into a small flat circle (much like a car windshield sun blocker) The only reason I gave it 4 starts is because the “tent like†material and see through mesh it is made from is very thin and the chicks were able to peck small holes in it. I don’t believe I will be able to use it more than once.Tip: I found that placing disposable pads at the bottom made clean up much faster and easier. Also finding odor absorbing and/or scented pads is best especially as the chicks get older.

Perfect for 8 chicks! Spacious enough to keep them eight weeks until I had moved them outside. Easy to get in and clean also.

We bought this for our new kitten. We love this playpen. The size is wonderful. However, it’s super flexible. The kitten can jump and grab the top and it collapses on him. When he’s out and about, he jumps on it and it collapses down and gets stuck being down. It does the job of containing the youngster when it’s bedtime and doesn’t appear to be unsafe. It’s not sharp at all or anything. Easy to clean. Zippers work well. Super easy to put up. Awful to take down. It’s almost impossible to get back in the pouch. It’s definitely a two person job to take down and store.

I bought this to keep my baby chicks in as a brooder. They have plenty of room and great ventilation. I had to cover the end of the zipper because the chicks learned to peck at it until it opened enough for them to escape! It's not super sturdy but works well for now. I don't recommend this for dogs. They will tear it up easily.

Bought for my quail, it's great. I can bed deeply so they can burrow and fluff up. And nothing gets thrown out of the pen while they do that. I'm very tempted to buy more and likely will. I like that the bottom can come right off so you can easily wash it. Or pin it to the ground outside and let the critters have grass while protected from birds of prey. Awesome little thing.

This is great for keeping chickens that are between newly hatched and five weeks old. I just filled mine with straw and because the bottom zips off it was easy to clean and wash.

I got this for one of my cats that recently had surgery and need some time alone but the sides are flimsy and she could use do the zippers very easily.

Works great for a grow out brooder , tons of space and love that it keeps dust in and folds down small when done, ended up buying 2
