I got these for a project in my garage. I was going to use them to raise and lower a large fan on a pivot so it would be out of the way when needed, but accessible when I wanted it. I ended up stumbling upon a better way to do that (used an old articulating TV wall mount), but I still tested these pulleys. The rope felt secure when pulling and the pulleys felt like they were solidly in place (I did mount them in studs). The chrome finish means these can be used inside and still look great. Maybe you want to raise and lower plants or have an assist in opening your hot tub lid, or have a rooftop cargo unit on your car that you'd like to pull up to take off...lots of options with these pulleys.

FYI, they do fit inside of 1⅝" strut channel (but you'll have to slip them in at the ends, and you'll need carefully chosen nuts/bolts/washers that are small enough to fit the pulley but large enough to securely attach to the strut channel, and be out of the way of the rope going through the pulley if the rope is running parallel with and within the strut channel).

Not sure why I’ll use this pulley set for yet, but they feel high-quality. The bearings works smoothly and the metal equipment feels durable

I frequently use pulleys around the homestead. These are rated for 176 pounds, which is more than I believe I'll need them for. They spin smoothly and feel sturdy. I plan to use them with some paracord and a counterweight for a sliding door closer.

Comes in a 2 pack and these are pretty heavy. It's definitely made of a thick hard steel based off their weight. The pulleys spin very easily on their bearings. The channel thickness is 1/4" so won't do well with cord or line thicker. The anchors and screws it came with are fairly large, so you should be able to get a nice solid pulley from this pack.

Advertised as having a bearing for smooth rolling but these feel like either the bearings are very bad or it's a wheel on metal shaft type pulley. I would not use this in any combination pulley system to create a leverage advantage, the friction would create a negative effect that would more than offset the advantage. It's ok for a simple light duty application or rope single redirection. Also consider not only the weight that this will support but also the weight plus any rope pulling force while a load is attached before considering mounting with the included drywall anchors. Better to screw into studs to be safe.

These pulleys were easy to install with included hardware, or use your own. They also glide easily and seem like they’re made from quality material.

These pulleys do exactly what they are meant to do. They have allowed me to put a nice clothesline up outside. They roll well and were easy to install. I won't be hanging really heavy items on the line, but normal everyday clothes will be fine. I recommend these pulleys.
