This has made my life so much easier. Before, I was constantly mounting and unmounting my RC60B to move it from one application to the next, using the stud mount on the bottom. This lets me keep it semi-permanently attached in one setup, and it's one quick movement to disconnect it and make it mobile. Plus, it balances the weight better, with the softbox on one side, and the light/battery on the other, and I can use all of my regular-sized Bowens light modifiers. Brilliant.

This is a great mount, well made. I love all of my previous SmallRig products. This would’ve been a great buy if I had identified the model & make of my light correctly. Double check the specs & you’re going to enjoy this quality product.

This is only for the Smallrig 60W portable light with it's 'mini Bowens' connector and this allows the use of proper Bowens mount accessories.I have a Ulanzi 40W light and Ulanzi 60W light that have what they call a 'mini Bowens' type connector , but this adapter will not fit it.I want to say its not Smallrig's fault the connector can't be used on other manufacturer's and won't take any marks off , but Bowens was a standard, why can't the manufacturers agree a new standard for 'mini Bowens' if they need to go smaller ? There are industry bodies for exactly this sort of thing.Anyway, this doesn't work for my lights, so only suitable for for specific Smallrig lights.The Bowens end attaches to standard Bowens accessories as it should :)The Smallrig end is made of thin plastic and the pips are very small. It does not look strong enough to hold bigger Bowens accessories.The bracket tilts 90 Deg forwards and backwards.There is no umbrella shaft holder, something that is useful and would have been easy to add.Taking a mark off because the small rig connection side feels very lightweight and so thin.

Not much to say about this, other than it taking a while to actually be available. It should really be included with the light considering there’s only 2 accessories for the mini mount for these small rig lights.

I have several Smallrig lights, 2 of the SmallRig RC 100B COB Video Light and one SmallRig RC 60C RGB LED Video Light. I also have a desktop tripod, SONY ZV-E10 cage and many more Smallrig branded camera tools. I ordered this Bowens Mount Adapter to be able to use it with a Lantern Softbox. The adapter appears to be very well made with metal reinforcement. My Lantern Softbox mounts securely without any issues. However this adapter doesn't secure my COB light. Unfortunately as my lantern adjusted to light-up the overall scene facing up with a 45 degree angle my SmallRig RC 100B COB Video Light fell and broke because of this adapter. It doesn't secure the light, it clicks and gives you the impression of "locked". However smallest movement to adjust the light or changing the place of the light around the project, it causes the light to release. I testes with my other Smallrig lights, all of them released form the adapter without my intention. Unfortunately I lost an over $230 worth brand new SmallRig RC 100B COB Video Light. Do not buy this bowens adapter. It's bad news!

This product delivers as described. It is great in quality and a very good value for the money. This adapter opens many more diffusion possibilities for my SmallRig lighting. I highly recommended it!

Placing an order for this "SMALLRIG Bowens Mount Adapter Part for RC 60b - 4476" was that kind of decision. The "title" of the adapter is actually misleading since the RC 60b - 4476 (a SMALLRIG Studio Video Light) does not require this adapter to operate. Just as this Bowens Mount adapter does not require the video light to be useful.The BOWENS MOUNT is the broadest "ecosystem" of products in all of photography. Regardless of country, language, or lighting product the "S-FIT ATTACHMENT" (the BOWENS MOUNT) is the standard for lights, modifiers, and related photographic products.The attachment is three-point stable, locks in place until the "unlock" key is purposely depressed while rotating the light or modifier ON or OFF the support.In our studio we have 7 softboxes of various sizes with Bowens Mounts. ALL of our Bowens, Profoto, and Flashpoint monolights use Bowens mount modifiers and even our rectangular Nikon SB5000 and round Flashpoint R2 single camera flash units are mounted in Bowens flash adapters. (See Attached Photos)We are a small studio, but I counted 24 devices (lights, modifiers, scrims, snoots, and beauty dishes that ALL have the ubiquitous three-point Bowens Mount as their attachment.This adapter is $21.90 at AMAZON today (May 2024). This is a lot of usability for not a lot of money when you consider the cost of the devices that we can ATTACH to this S-Fit Attachment adapter.So, choosing this articulating SMALLRIG Bowens Mount Adapter Part for RC 60b - 4476, even though we do not have the COB SMALLRIG Video Light was, as stated earlier, EASY. We CAN use it with everything in our inventory that accommodates the S-Fit Attachment and adding it allows one more useful handheld attachment point to now be available. Wie bei allem Produkten, die ich von SmallRig besitze, merkt man auch hier sofort die hochwertige Verarbeitung des Adapters. Die Halterungen sind gut verarbeitet, stabil und es wackelt auch nichts. Der Adapter lässt sich einfach auf ein übliches Lampenstativ montieren und lässt sich dabei um 180 Grad neigen.Der Adapter dient dazu, an eine SmallRig RC 60B COB Videoleuchte Softboxen oder Reflektoren mit Bowens Mount zu verwenden. Insofern ist dies eine sehr gute Ergänzung zu der SmallRig Videoleuchte, da man durch anderes (wohl meist doch vorhandenes) Zubehör die Einsatzmöglichkeiten deutlich erweiterten kann.Besonders gut finde ich auch, dass bei der Verpackung vollständig auf Plastik verzichtet wurde. Der Adapter wird in einem Karton geliefert, wobei der Adapter darin nochmals in dickerem Papier eingewickelt ist.Ich besitze auch ein Licht aus der neuen Rollei LUX Serie. Obwohl die Anschlüsse an der Lampe fast den identischen Durchmesser wie der der SmallRig Videoleuchte haben, passt der Adapter nur um wenige Millimeter nicht an die Rollei LUX Leuchte. Somit ist - wie angegeben - der Adapter wohl nur mit der SmallRig RC 60B COB Videoleuchte kompatibel.Ein wirklich hochwertiger Adapter, der den Einsatzbereich der SmallRig Videoleuchte erheblich erweitert. Daher meine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

Its a nice adaper to use for conversion to a larger bowens mount, the feel on this is not nicely designed, simple hard plastic moulded handle, which is not nice to hold, could've been better with a little thought.
