I use an RS3 Mini with a Lumix G9 to shoot real estate videos. The problem I had was when I used a briefcase handle to shoot, the screen of the camera was often obscured. Also, depending on the angle and the reach to grab a shot, I was rarely able to clearly see what the camera was capturing. I figured I could use a field monitor, but instead of shelling out the cash, I downloaded the Lumix app onto an old phone and made my own wireless field monitor (it works well enough). Now for this monitor mount. It is a well built product with lots of adjustment options. I have multiple methods of attaching it to the Smallrig briefcase handle, and it will twist and turn to ensure my make-shift monitor is always easily visible. This item is a no-brainer for most folks looking to attach a proper field monitor. It's well built, simple to use, and can simplify your workflow.

Got this to connect a monitor for my camera to the camera itself. This is all metal and works really well with other smallrig accessories.

This holds a monitor on my camera. Improved my daily work routine immensely. Easy to rotate in all directions and holds in place with a strong grip.

The hinge is very tight and difficult to move. A finger crank is almost unnecessary.

Funciona perfectamente para lo que se necesita, fija tu monitor de manera segura pero flexible es decir lo puedes reacomodaron con una sola mano sin hacer mucha fuerza pero queda lo suficientemente firme para que tu monitor no se mueva y miren que uso como monitor un iPad mini con una jaula metálica de protección y todo perfecto.

I've had both the initial version and this second version. The updated version is a significant improvement in a number of ways. The first version I bought would loosen over time, and it could only be tightened with a socket wrench. Since I don't own a wrench I just never tightened it, and my monitor would flop down during shoots, sometimes so hard that a battery would come loose, which in one instance damaged footage. This new version tightens with a knob, which is great. It also has nice locking pins that keep my monitor from swivelling. And unlike the first version, which needed to be tightened with an allen key, this one can be tightened by hand and stay relatively tight (you can get it tighter with the allen key, but it's so nice just to get it mostly tight by hand). This thing is absolutely solid, and I trust it to hold my monitor 100%.
