Edit: Updated as the replacement unit had no issues. Same pluses as before - nice to have a battery read out as a percentage, which lets you know better how much you have left instead of just 4-5 pips. Smallrig construction makes up most of the connectors/adapters in our shop, so it's nice to have an option to go to reliably for battery as well.Customer service is responsive so definitely a good experience.I've ordered two of these. The first one was great - it's super convenient to have the battery read out as a percentage, and the field life is good. USB-C is also a quality of life feature that's worth paying for.The problem is QC. My second is permanently stuck at a maxiumum of 95%. It isn't a reduced capacity issue, and both are new (not used/renewed). Unsure what the issue is, and Smallrig requires the user to pay for shipping both ways on warranties and repairs.Your mileage may vary, but wanted to highlight this for everyone else, as it's certainly not ideal. Losing 5% off the top isn't a deal breaker, but other folks might have worse luck - with having to pay for both ways on shipping, you're kinda left holding the bag.

We primarily are using these for our DJI SDR transmitters to wirelessly connect from a camera to a projector during training classes so that students that can't see what the instructor is doing first hand can look at the monitor and follow along. We went with the bright orange as classes are always in different counties and it allows use to keep track of them easier should it get set down somewhere. They also have the added benefit of using them to recharge phones or cameras in if needed. The LCD screen makes it easy to know exactly how much power you have left. The transmitters are power hungry and these batteries are holding up to the demand.

This battery makes my camera rig!Mounts on my external monitor then usbC to my canon r5c for 8k.Runs monitor and camera for over an hour!Worth every penny ! Good job Smallrig!

Love this battery! A little pricier than similar batteries but it’s very convenient to be able to charge with a usb c cable and also charge other devices. SMALLRIG has always been pretty reliable in my experience so in spite of the price I still give it 5 stars for all of the convenient features.

Build quality seems alright, definitely won't survive a drop like a neewer battery would.I think around the $50-60 range, this is a good priced battery. Much more than that, I think it's overpriced. That being said, I like the USB-C charging port. You can charge the battery and charge other things with it. AND, keep in mind this is a 10,500mAh battery so it will charge a laptop or a Rog Ally X, which for a traveling video producer, that will come in handy. Unlike the Neewer ones that are the same size and weight that are 7800mAh- those are like $35 and pretty good too for the price, but definitely not the sleek batteries these are.One huge plus is the button, it's a tap button instead of a push button like the others. Doesn't seem like a big deal until you are using it on a camera or accessory and you just tap it instead of trying to press the buttons on the other ones which messes up framing or adds vibration to the shot.Charges phone to 0-full with about 20% charge over the course of about an hour. Leaving 80% for later.Definitely a powerful compact battery.I wish it had two usb-c ports. That USB A is basically pointless in my opinion. It can do charge through, but I've heard it's not recommended due to heat.The display shows precise percentages, which I like more than I thought I would. However, with the display, would have been cool to see output and input power like my anker battery.Overall, it's a wonderful battery, my favorite ones in the NP-f sock drawer. I like the black, the classic look. It's a little over priced at $80. jeez. And I've purchased 4 of these used from Amazon and two were swapped out with cheaper batteries- so had to send them back. The version 2 of these batteries will be amazing and could be the perfect battery. With an improvement on the outer shell, more information on the display, these things will be the leader. Just impressed they took a battery that's old and updated it to the modern times when it felt like these batteries are on their last leg, despite over other thing using them still.I recommend, but try to find them cheaper!

Fantastic battery for so many accessories, I've used it for continuous power to my cameras, to power a slider, to power a monitor. Everything I have used it for works great and better than factory batteries. I'm probably going to have to get a few more in the future.

Batterie parfaite. S'adapte bien sur mon moniteur externe Atomos Shinobi. Bonne autonomie et l'écran permet de connaître le niveau de charge à tout moment.
