I soak and add them to my horse's evening feed and they love them. The product seems fresh - it's the third time that I have bought them. I am not sure if these are grown and produced at CZ Farms as there is literally no additional information about the product. I have reached out to the seller inquiring about the quality of the product and specifically, if it was GMO and Additive-free. The response wasn't much more than to say that it was GMO-free (most Beet products are) and there were no additives and that was it. The packaging looks suspicious. like the product is bought from a wholesaler or retailer and repackaged. I'll do some research and update my review at that time. However, I will say that if this product is grown. processed and manufactured by CZ Farms, they do a fantastic job with it. Definitely support small businesses over big brands if you can.
