This is a well-made, dissolved oxygen meter. It has taken something that is normally unknown with aquariums and helped me to understand the oxygen percentage dissolved in aquarium water. This kit is supplied with zero-oxygen test solution that you use once to calibrate the zero level, and it uses room air to calibrate the 100% oxygen level with every use. Readings are very consistent from test to test. I recommend this product.

Came packaged well. I read the manual and it was easy for me to comprehend. I used the meter and the readings seemed accurate as far as I could tell. I attempted to use the app but I did not have much success. Then eventually I gave up. The idea seemed great, but it was poorly executed. As far as the meter itself goes, I would recommend.

My original intent of this purchase was for funding out the oxygen levels in my aquariums as the small of the tanks are the faster the oxygen Levels can changeAnother reason why I got this is because I would like to create a fish waste powered hydroponic floating plant trough system that uses IVC totes for the tilapia and the water from that to go to the plants and cycle back through againThis meter will allow me to see what is really going on with my oxygen levels for the fish because these fish are not top water breather as in Anabantoids or Gourami/Siamese fighting fish/Paradise and some others that can survive low oxygen water levels with no problemsSo far, the meter seems to be working just fine for my requirements. Can recommend this product if you have similar requirements as mine plus I am curious of how our small ponds are doing in our yard and I live beside a swamp area and I would like to start monitoring what is going on with the environment since there are so many people that don’t believe in climate change. I even noticed the mistletoe was disappearing in our yards

This "smart" DO meter is well-built but the smart part of it fails completely with an app that doesn't work. Don't even bother with the app, you won't be able to use it. It tracks your location for some reason as well, which is very off-putting to me. However, without the app, the meter still works and it works well. It's super easy to use and could save your fish tank or even koi pond. It doesn't take much to kill fish so its a great diagnostic tool to keep around. The price might seem high, but it's low when compared to some fancy fish! I couldn't imagine killing off a thousand dollar fish because the O2 levels dropped and I didn't notice. I enjoy testing my tanks and this tool lets me do a quick dip and check, very easy to use. I'd recommend this DO meter to anyone who enjoys testing their aquariums and/or koi ponds.

First off, the Bluetooth won't connect at all on my android. Can't speak for other devices. But I don't need that feature so w/e I guess. This meter uses button cell batteries which is very annoying. They don't last long and most people don't have replacements at home unlike batteries like AAA. A USB-C rechargeable li-ion battery would be even better. The calibration process works fine and the readings seem to be stable and follow what you would expect (e.g. aerated water reading higher). It's handy it comes with replacement heads as the permeable membrane is fragile and thin.

Luckily this dissolved oxygen meter has a large easy to read LCD because the companion phone app that is to be used with the meter does not work well at all. I had Bluetooth connection issues and once I got past that the app wanted access to my contacts which it has absolutely no need for. Measurements seemed to be pretty accurate although I could not get the unit to reset to zero with calibration. At least the readings were consistent though and they did match what my other DO meter showed within .1 - .2 mg/l

Initial testing shows that this device works well. Let's see if it'll work well enough for my purpose - finding large fish in less time.I've always wanted a dissolved oxygen meter, but they were in the thousands of dollars. Those thousands can be better spent on other fishing equipment. Within the last few years, these device have become much more affordable. I got this to hopefully help me save time when fishing in large reservoirs and bays. I believe the saying that 90% of fish live in 10% of the water. I read literature that said oxygen level is directly related to fish's activity. This device should help me establish guidelines for dissolved oxygen when targeting larger fish, like avoiding fishing in areas with brown or decaying weeds, allowing me to eliminate unproductive water and focus on where the larger fish are most likely to be.

I use this in my classroom, and it has held up well and has been very useful for various experiments and labs that my students do. The app is could do with some major improvements, but the meter itself is fantastic, and for the price, I’m satisfied.
