It's really convenient for cooking eggs without messing up the stove. I like my eggs over hard, so I put it on the highest setting. It's been working out great for me. Works great with scrambled eggs too - it makes what looks like a fritata when I ad cheese and oregano.

Great product!! perfect size as it does not take up much space . A Good variety of settings from which to select from to make your egg(s).At first I was apprehensive as too how well it would cook the eggs and it did perfect , after almost a dozen eggs there was nothing wrong with any , and they all came out like the setting I selected.Hyvance needs to make a two egg cooker version of this .I do like just adding egg select how you want egg done press start and just wait for the beep.

UPDATE:After 2 weeks of use, the selector & start buttons quit working. Attempting to return it (& it's instruction pamphlet) to Amazon even though I had discarded the box it came in after 3 or 4 successful uses.It may be considered a little bougie to have a little uni-tasker just to make a fried egg, but considering that I like an occasional fried egg, I like this little guy. Most of the time when I fry an egg it somehow turns into a scrambled egg.This device is easy to use, just give it a little shot of spray oil, or a dab of butter, add the egg, close the lid, select the doneness you desire & press the start button. A few minutes latter, you've got a pretty nice looking fried egg, and it's just the right size for a breakfast sandwich.

PREVIOUS ENTRY: I purchased my egg cooker back in April. It's worked great since I bought it. However, two weeks ago, eggs started to stick to the bottom of the cook area. Just a little stickiness at first, vut increasingly sticky. This morning I had to scrape the egg out, breaking it in a bunch of pieces. I've tried cleaning it repeatedly with a soft cloth and soapy water to no avail.UPDATED ENTRY: When I reached out to HYVANCE, they initially suggested that I maybe was using any oil to cook the eggs, but after confirming that I was using oil, they offered to send me a replacement. I just received it today - it only took a week. I am now satisfied and appreciate HYVANCE's service. This really is a great little egg cooker - it's nice to know that I can continue using it.

I purchased this mainly for an over medium style egg. But, I also intend to use it for bagel with eggs.I used the 1/2 runny yolk setting to fry 3 eggs. The first one, cooked without preheating, turned out a bit more done than I expected. The next two were nearly perfect and the result was consistent. I suspect preheating the cooker without an egg might give the best results for all three eggs.I only sprayed oil onto the bottom surface for the first egg, and all three came out easily with the provided tool.I am happy with the results, the ease of use of the device, and the build quality. The only reason I gave it four stars was the price. It seems a bit expensive for what it does. It will be money well spent if it continues to cook eggs consistently.

I wanted an egg with cooked white and runny yolk, without messing around with frying pans or egg poacher. I have tried a lot of egg poachers over the years and I always manage to 'frazzle' fried eggs, which I hate.This gives me one almost fat free, cooked egg with exactly the consistency I like - and its so easy. Cleaning is easy too - just wipe.I guess the eggs will fit well into a burger bun too!
