I would have given it 5 stars but upon opening it I noticed that they sent me a light that had been returned. Nothing was wrong with the lamp itself but it was missing the cord. The blue stars are so much better then the green stars that so many of these lights have. It covers a larger area than most others that are similar. It has more functionality than most lights. The speed and dimming functions are great something that most don’t have. You can also customize shows. The colors are bright and dynamic and can be programmed to fade nicely into each other. The pattern is random and smoke like which I really enjoy. So far so good better than the sky 2.0. I looked at about ten of these machines before this one. The only thing that this one doesn’t have is the music or soothing sounds which doesn’t really bother me because I could never really figure out how to use the feature on the other ones anyway and that’s what phones are for. By far the best light projection machine out there that I’ve found.

I recently purchased the Galaxy Star Projector for my child's bedroom, and it has quickly become their favorite part of the room! This product is perfect for kids who love space or just want a cool night light. The projector is easy to use and comes with a remote control, which my child loves using to change the colors and patterns of the galaxy projection. The colors are bright and the movement is very soothing, making it perfect for helping my child fall asleep at night. This is the best gift I purchased EVER for my kids!

As a person who was looking to upgrade my existing light projector, I had already known I wanted a light that would fill the ceiling, and this really doesn’t do that. This one will give a 2x2 area of colorful light with rotating lasers projecting much farther, which wasn’t what I was hoping for. The remote didn’t work, despite having a pull-tab protected battery, so I think it was defective. It’s pretty neat overall, you can dim the projection (although I’d argue it just dulls crispness of the projected colors). The light projection itself is really cool and pretty as a night light, but not for people who want to have a ceiling full of color. I’ll be returning this one and looking for something that projects farther out.
