This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first one survived being drug behind my truck on more than one occasion. This is a good solid full length mud flap that is very easy to install. Also very easy to modify.

I'm surprised there weren't pre drilled holes and it is too big for my Tacoma. I had to get a special blade to cut the rubber to fit. It was alot of work. I'm sure it wouldn't fit a standard SUV either.

This 16†high X 70†length comes with 2 hitch brackets 2†& 2.5â€. It also has a 3 piece support bracket and HW for building and attaching. The combination of these allows you to connect to receiver or hitch.

So after a ton of research we purchased this rock guard for our 2019 F-350. Works great, great heavy duty material, looks nice, easy to install. However, the description on Amazon said that frequently S.Solutions 00070 70" Angled Steel Mounting Bar was purchased with the mud flap and was needed for install. NOT TRUE!! Everything comes with what you need to install, do not purchase the Angled Mounting Bar! We bought it, didn't need it and contacted Amazon for a refund. They had to approve refund from the manufacturer. Once they approved they emailed us a return label but we had to pay for shipping. I took it to UPS and it was $35 to ship!!!! What the hell, it only cost $45 in the first place, so I went to USPS and got it shipped for $15. Still was just a waste of time and money. DON'T BUY IT!!!

So, I know it’s the least expensive of the options for this but unless you’re set up with a drill and saw and other larger tools I wouldn’t recommend. For what it’s worth it was shipped in a way that let different nuts and washers and locknuts that just fell out of the main box in transit I’d imagine. But then you see that it’s a heavy piece of rubber and there are no holes or Pre cut parts at all. So just be prepared to drill 16 holes and cut a few openings it’s a good buy for you if you can do that on you’re own but if you’re looking for a quick setup for an urgent need I would take a step back and see other options maybe local hitch guys.

I returned the item because it appeared to be unstable since the only attachment to the pickup is the hitch. At speed it would wobble uncontrollably and therefore not be much protection, with the possibility of doing damage to the pickup. I think it would be OK behind a motor home because there would be the possibility of attaching both ends to the bumper.

Took around 20 minutes to assemble with a few basic tools. Looks good and great quality for way less than most rock tamers
