I noticed the 1-star review (the person who is not a smoker but his wife said it didnt work) but took a chance and bought it because I wanted to reduce the smoke. Thats exactly what it does! Love this product..no more unnecessary smoke while my cigarette burns out in the ashtray which is what happens most of the time. Not only is it a beautiful sleek design but it does help with reducing the smoke. I am very happy. Thank you so much! I will be purchasing another next month. Excellent product and it does what it says. The person who gave it 1 star might not know how to use it. Read directions, you might get a better outcome. The trick to this is to keep it plugged in. I have it on my desk while I work, plugged in at all times. Perfect!---Update on April 27, 2021:Well, the first one caught on fire after two months, no joke. I loved it from the start because I smoke indoors and it really did work. I figured it was defective. I said "Ta hell with it..I liked it so much..i'll buy another.Working on the second one...keep you posted..I still left a 5 star review becuase if you use it correctly, keep it plugged in, it does exactly what it says it does..no indoor smoke..only the smoke that comes out of your mouth is in the air..about it. Partner not complaining so much. Lets see what happens to the second ashtray. You also have to replace the filter once a month. I dont mind just as long as the smoke is reduced. Im very happy. I am an indoor smoker.

Will not stay charged! Can only smoke 4 cigarettes and have to recharge. And yes I turn it off between cigarettes. When it is working it works well but it is not worth the price because of the charging problem. In the description it says it will last 10 hours and it might last an hour at the most.

Seems to work okay, but the top section is just sitting on the top and not attached in any way, so it tips over easily when picked up by the top, which spills ashes on the table. If it was clamped down, screwed or just a suction, this wouldn't happen.

Great idea. Well made solid little tray. Has rechargeable battery or you can just keep it plugged. Also has 2 speeds. Works better than most because the fan is above the tray and enclosed and has a filter. Everyone hates stale smoke smell from an open ash tray.

It only worked for a couple of months. Then no matter how long you keep it on the charger it won't turn on to suck up the smoke into the filter and the fan on top. Also after 2 months it needs a new filter which I can't find. I still use it as an ashtray anyway but it doesn't suck up the smoke anymore.

Worked ok at first but the battery doesn't last at all and the filter didn't last either! Can't find filters to replace properly. Good idea but not worth the money

This item was not a good purchase & unfortunately I can’t return it as I waited too long to try it & as I ordered a similar one that is quiet. This just makes too much noise & it does not hold a charge for long. Just not a good product.

I liked the ashtray. Bought to bring on vacation so I could smoke on the outdoor porch of room. Was easy to plug in to charge (phone charger) worked exactly as described. Wish side hole area was just a little larger. Overall worked.
