I was concerned that this might not work with my AmScope, but it works great. After adjusting the height of the AmScope’s barrel this slides into, everything was in beautiful focus. This product is cheap plastic, but it honestly holds up just fine. No complaints whatsoever. Fits my iPhone Max size easily, which I was worried might not fit.

I have a trinocular microscope and an S24 Ultra. I lost the 5mp camera that came with it but it wasn't very convenient to use having to pull a laptop along. I was a little worried it might be hard to get adjusted since my phone has multiple cameras, but after opening it up and then tilting it a little the phone was positioned perfectly. My phone was able to auto focus as well, which made this a breeze. Very very happy with this little mount. There's nothing on amazon that would shoot photos and video as well as my S24 and a 10MP microscope usb camera was over $400. This is an outstanding choice.

This needs a third axis to compensate for the sloppy fit and the weight of the phone. Also needs a way to compensate better for different button layouts. I found the weight of the phone pulls the camera mount down just enough to mess up the focus a little on the edges of the image wrapping a little tape around the lens insert helps somewhat.Edit 3 stars may be a little harsh since many of the issues may be shared with other similar adapters although I did see some with an adjustment that would give you a way to compensate for weight of the phone. They offered me a refund but I am not taking it but will give 3.5+ if I can in a category that I don't think can achieve 5 stars for everyone anyways

I'm a college student who has an inexpensive compound microscope, and I've been using it as a hobby for a few years now. I got tired of trying to take a photo through the eyepiece manually because it's so hard to get it centered and to take the photo. At first, I was looking at camera options but realized that they are way out of budget. Instead of spending $400 on a camera, I found this product as an alternative. You attach this lens (with a phone holder) into the microscope then attach your phone into the stand and line up the camera. Although this can be a bit tricky, it's definitely easier than taking a photo manually because with this, you only have to line it up once and then its set for the entire microscope use session. I dislike is that I have to take the case off my phone (iPhone 11) because it's too wide to fit in the stand with the case on. because of this I'm not sure it would fit all phones. I also dislike that the lens has some dark spots. If I were using this for anything more than a hobby I would return it since there are dark spots and some little scratches visible in every photo I take through this lens. For the price, the quality is about what you'd expect but I'm sure this will last if you treat it well. For my purposes, it works just finePros:- affordable-WAY cheaper than a camera- easier than taking a photo by hand- appears to be decent qualityCons:- probably doesn't fit all phones (have to take case off iPhone)- visible scratches on lens, affecting picture quality

Slips easily, making it difficult to see the target. Does not focus properly. I would not buy it again

This adapter works very well, but I needed to remove my protective case off my phone to get it set-up.Got clear pictures and a steady view after it was properly attached. The eye piece is made of plastic so don't abuse it.

Easy to set up on phone, slipped onto microscope (SWIFT SW380T) adjusted the focus and within 15 mins I was taking awesome photos and video of my specimens. Make sure that the diameter of your microscope eye piece is the right size. I believe that the dia. of the unit is 23mm. Double check. For the price and performance of this unit I recommend.

Everything worked well and fit perfect to my phone an microscope. I started to move on my sample and had this cloudy scratches moving with the picture. So I checked the Lens and found many small scratches..... Very sad. Its just a cheap plastic lens.

I took a video using it and it was really good worth spending on it. The plastic looks but less premium but it's good.

Works well for my Huawei phone! I was concerned because of all of the lenses on the back of my phone, but it was simple to line up the adapter to the top lens. Can't wait to be able to share better photos of my microscopy.
