I have been wearing Wigwam socks for about five years now and I love them. They are great quality and they are very comfortable and durable. The size is also always correct. I’m amazed that more people don’t know about the difference between wool and cotton socks. Wool is just a perfect choice for socks. Keeps my feet dry and protected from moisture, cold, or heat. I had assumed that wool would be too warm for my feet because I live in the Souteastern US. But I’m surprised that they are actually cooler than cotton sock and don’t hold moisture on my feet like cotton socks do.

I've been looking for some Merino wool socks but have been stymied because most don't come in my size - I require an XXL (15-17 Men's). When I saw these on Amazon I bought a pair to try out, and lo and behold, they fit and are very comfortable. The sizing is accurate, they didn't shrink much on first washing, and they're easy to put on - the elastic isn't so tight that it's a struggle. Overall, I'm so impressed with these socks that I bought 5 more pair. They only nit I can pick is that I wish they came is a much lighter "athletic gray" color. They don't, but that's not a major issue. I like 'em and rate 'em 5 Stars!

I got these for hiking, but they're great for around the house, too. When I'm not on the trails, I wear them like slippers around the house. Soft texture, but very durable. Fast drying.

I have had several Smartwool socks and these are right with the others. They do not disappoint. They hold their shape and usually stay up on your calf. I have yet to find many (outside of compression) that stay up for any long amount of time, but these hold fairly well. The light cushion rating gives the right amount on your foot. I have a few full cushion versions and those are different in that they do keep you a little warmer and have a little more compression. If I was going hiking with these, I would prefer the full cushion, especially in a boot. In a shoe, these should do just fine. I wish they were a little more affordable, but I feel all Smartwool socks hover around that $20-$25 range any more.

Yeah, the price of socks has gotten silly.But I still find these Smartwool socks to be more comfortable, and last longer than any other brands I have used for the past 20 years.I've tried many other brands and over time, their socks wear out, or become difficult to put on, while the Smartwool ones survive wash after wash.Due to attrition my sock drawer is now 90% smartwool. They just last longer and are more comfortable.

Quality socks - sometimes this model is not quite as good quality as other times but in this case I definitely got the well-made variety! These are expensive everywhere now but I think worth it for happy feet.
