bought this as a replacement for my first helmet which was a Vantage MIPS. Cracked it when i took a hard fall. This one isnt MIPS but fits a little smaller. Same style, but a little tighter. other than that it works fine.

My boyfriend has a Large Smith helmet which was too big for my head, so I knew I needed a Medium. I like the vents that can be opened when it’s warmer out. Compatible with Smith goggles. I’m glad I made this purchase. The BOA allows for small adjustments if needed.

I should have read other reviews. In 4 places in the product description, Smith references the MIPS safety system. This is NOT a MIPS-equipped helmet. I reached out to Smith regarding this, but of course after 2 weeks, they chose not to respond at all. A big thumbs down to Smith for intentionally misleading customers and for providing no product support after the sale.

Helmet is nice but it fits smaller than expected. My biggest concern is that there is not a yellow dot sticker on the back of the helmet, indicating that the helmet does not have a MIPS system.

Fit me better than any of the Oakley helmets. Only thing I liked about Oakley better was the ear covering has a slot for the ears to stick out freely, and this one mashes them down like all other helmets. This is an on-ear headset. Oakley has an over the ear headset design. Still a more comfortable helmet than Oakley overall, and the ear issue isn't that big a deal. Just the only thing Oakley has on this helmet.
