Where I reside, powder coated metal might as well be bare metal. It will rust just as fast and as completely as untreated sheet metal. I purchased the stainless steel tail light guards and it will last until the next ice age. Stainless steel is the most beautiful and durable metal on the planet. My new stainless Euro tail light guards match my stainless steel tube bumpers, stainless steel tube step bars, stainless steel grill, stainless steel running light and headlight guards. I rated this product four stars because the screws that came with the guards did not fit the factory TJ holes. One trip to the hardware store and six screws later they were installed nearly effortlessly.There was an error with my Amazon package thus, I had to purchase it from the local 4x4 store. But this is a good product. I recommend it to all CJ,YJ, and TJ owners.

The bolts do not thread into the exiting holes. Went to a farm store to get replacement bolts and still have not found the correct fit. Might be retuning them. The guards themselves are high quality and I like them, but I haven't been able to install them.
